WAVY News 10's Kiahnna Patterson interviewed Cory Bigsby's attorney, Amina Matheny-Willard on Tuesday about the case. Details: Cory Bigsby denied another bond hearing Cory Bigsby denied another bond hearing

There is a 13 minute interview with his attorney ... interesting the Judge denied bond again. Despite what is being claimed by his legal counsel, there must be information the Judge is privy too which is keeping him in jail. With all the accusations of misconduct, he wouldn't dare hold him without a darn good reason.

The attorney misses the point by a mile when she states Cory is only in jail for leaving his kids home alone - which only warrants a referral to CPS, not being jailed.

Poor Codi, no one talks about him in the media interviews, except as it relates to his jailed dad.

He is facing SEVEN felony counts and they DO NOT relate to Codi's disappearance! I wonder what those are?
Leaving the kids home alone - four of them one occasion, three on another. Seven counts. The attorney states this in her interview.

Kevin Kulp with the Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, called on four witnesses; a Walmart loss prevention specialist, two car dealership employees and the new lead detective Steve Rodey.

Walmart security camera video shows Cory in Walmart alone on January 25. Cory admitted to police he left his four young kids home alone that day.

Another video from a car dealership in Norfolk shows Cory with one child on December 13th.

Detective Rodey confirms Cory was away from his 3 youngest kids for 6 hours that day.

[...]

The case heads to the grand jury in July.

HAMPTON, Va. — Cory Bigsby, a Hampton man accused of felony child neglect, was denied bond by a judge for the fifth time on Monday.
In a morning court hearing, the judge found that there's enough evidence in Bigsby's case to send it to a grand jury on July 5. That grand jury won't decide if he's guilty; they'll decide if there's enough evidence against Bigsby that he should face trial for child neglect.
Judge sends Bigsby's child neglect charges to grand jury, denies him bond 5th time

I have a question the new charges abuse of child disregard life , would they have found more evidence to charge that ? Would this be setting up for murder charges ? This poor boy every adult failed him . I really hoped codi’s family would just start talking and help find this boy the only thing I’ve seen is everyone of them worry about Cory and his rights it’s so disgusting. My opinion throw Cory in general population. Jmoo
