I created this thread hecause I noticed he's listed as a rule-out for various missing people but couldn't find a separate thread for him.

I hope he will be identified. I wish that they had provided his height / weight / detailed description of his clothing and shoes, description of his bicycle.

I noticed he is described as having a goatee, but his reconstruction does not show it.

Maybe we can work on this case a bit. Perhaps he was reported missing from a different state, not Virginia.

Namus also has a different photo rendering from March 2025, one which I think makes this guy look younger than the previous image.

I'm surprised he hasn't been identified yet. He was on a bike, and he had to keep that bike somewhere, likely nearby. Plus the area where he was found looks to be very residential. You'd think there would be a connection between those two details.

I’ve never seen so many rule outs before on a case, which surprised me to see that somebody not ruled out is Daniel Galicia-Aguare, missing since April 22nd 2007 age 17, but turned 18 in June. Authorities believe he left of his own accord. He has black hair, brown eyes, and in my opinion a resemblance to doe. Photos of both Doe and Daniel below. The only query I have is distance, disappearing from California on the other side of the country, but if investigators are right in saying he chose to leave, is the distance that implausible?

He really does resemble the rendering of the Doe!

The distance is a concern, of course. But if Daniel had moved to the Fairfax area only recently, that would explain how he could disappear there without anyone reporting it. He was simply too new to the community to be noticed and remembered.

However, for no one to notice, did Daniel just live alone? I guess it's possible but (I imagine) difficult for an 18-year-old, especially on the eve of the Great Recession. Maybe he got an apartment by himself with the intention of finding a roommate later, but this never materialized because he disappeared.

But if Daniel had roommates in Fairfax, how come they didn't notice and report his disappearance? Maybe Daniel had a month-to-month arrangement with them, so when he disappeared, they just figured he found a new place and wouldn't be renewing next month.

I would not worry about the distance, because sometimes people are found very far from where they were reported missing. If he were a match, maybe he just wasn't reported missing to police in VA.
