VA Amber Alert for Child Abducted; last seen in Bristol, TN

An AMBER ALERT has been issued for a missing 17-year-old girl last seen in Virginia.

Virginia State Police say Grace Olivia Galliher was abducted Tuesday, July 24, at 4 p.m.

According to state police, Grace was last seen at a motel in Marionette with her abductor, Richard Tester.

Police say the two may traveling in a navy blue 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Tennessee license plate B71-01V.

Police say they are likely traveling north on Interstate 81.

She is with him willingly apparently... and appears that they crossed state lines to VA. Believed to be heading north. These horrible monsters taking advantage of these young girls. I hope they find her and get her somewhere safe!

The FBI is assisting the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office in searching for Grace Galliher, 17. They believe she left her home in Bristol on Tuesday with Richard Tester, 52.

The pair were last seen checking into a hotel in Marion, Virginia on Wednesday afternoon, but they have since left the area.

This sounds as if she's with him willingly. Here, they refer to an abduction and her being in extreme danger:

The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen at Food City, Bristol, TN.

The child is likely abducted by Richard Tester. He's a 52 year-old white, male. He's 5 feet 09 inches tall; weighs 150 lbs; with green eyes and brown hair.

Maybe it's one of those cases "if I cannot have her nobody will"?? Threats made? Maybe he/they are in desperation mode? Maybe, they just consider it "abduction" because she was taken across the state lines without permission of her parent/guardian, regardless if she went willingly. That poor girl and her family. They must be going out of their minds.

She is a minor, so she cannot really 'willingly' agree to cross state lines, and consent sexually. She is not legally able to give that consent, If I understand the laws.

Actually, the age of consent is anywhere from 16 yrs old to 18 yrs old depending on the state. Not that I agree with that. But, the laws are different. She is still a baby in my eyes.
