As the painful attempt of cross continues with Mr Bania, all I am hearing is the song from Pink Floyd:

" Ticking away....the moments that make up a dull day"....

Isn't it curious that JD's witnesses are clear, concise, engaging, and then AH's witnesses are... well, what they are?
Night & day.

Weird, eh?
Yes it is. I’ve noticed their witnesses seem very coached with code words. So it presents itself very differently in regards to both team’s witnesses. Johnnys each sound like they are following their individual areas of expertise with no trace of being coached.

I’m watching on Law & Crime …. Who was Amber staring at? Me, the jury or just the camera?

Oh, I thought it was me :D

ETA Thought she could maybe see me giving her the stink eye ;)

Amber Heard has 'terrible Q Scores'

Social media and internet analytics specialist Doug Bania is being asked for his opinion on testimony given by entertainment expert Kathryn Arnold earlier in the trial.

Ms Arnold, who was in the witness box yesterday, compared Amber Heard's potential career trajectory with the likes of Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Chris Pine and Ana de Armas - who she called "comparable actors".

Mr Bania says he has looked into "public perspective" for his own analysis. He also refers to Q Scores, which is an industry standard tool used in the US to assess the popularity of a public figure. He has prepared what the court calls "a demonstrative" to show the Q Scores of Heard in comparison with the other comparable actors, both in a positive and negative framework.

Here are the graphs he shows the court:

Mr Bania says the low figure for Heard's positive Q Score, and the high figure for her negative Q Score, tells him Heard "does not fit in as a comparable with these actors".

He describes Heard's Q Scores - which were taken before attorney Adam Waldman's statements but after Aquaman's release - as "terrible".

IMO she looks at the camera. I compared that to Rottenborn, sitting beside her, when he looks at the witness.
I've said before that I think she's always looking at the camera.
I’m not at all surprised and she also has that arrogant look with her chin up. It’s a very cold look in my opinion.

The Wayback Machine

Social media and internet analytics expert Doug Bania says he used the Wayback Machine, which looks at archived pages on the internet, to assess how interested the public were in Amber Heard prior to attorney Adam Waldman's statement, in comparison to the previously listed "comparable actors".

Where the graph says NA that means that actor does not have that social media account.

He concludes that damages for Heard "are not appropriate in this case".

It's quite difficult to find out how much Nicole Kidman was paid for Aquaman.
I was digging and digging. couldn't find it either :(

I like this attorney for JD. She is calm and clear.

Or biased, which I think is another important distinction.

Any bets yet on whether AH will start another lawsuit against her attorneys for incompetence and costing her the $50 million she was due in future earnings?

  • #754
I was wondering if she had taken COVID into AH's potential career trajectory.

  • #755
And as I expected. This cross is not compelling. This expert is very clear.

I don't like to admit it, but I don't think AH's legal team has represented her effectively. I'd sympathize with her being pizzed about their weak representation. JMO

Is this cross examination of JD’s witness counting against the time that AH’s team has left?

  • #758
I hope AH's team uses the rest of their precious time trying to trip this witness up....tick tock tick tock....

Agreed. To me it comes across as defiant and confrontational.

I must have a bad angle (thankfully!) as it looked to me she was looking at the witness.
