katelin partied with a female friend from high school and her boyfriend

the two of them got her really really drunk and then forced themselves on her

then they all had sex, she cried after, the next day was really awkward

katelin felt guilty for cheating

the other two apologized the next day

katelin was depressed and crying all day the next day

friend does not think katelin was suicidal

I don't understand why more information, like a name, isn't being released by police. I also don't know why his cell phone data wasn't already obtained via a search warrant. They have information showing that the person to last see her alive lied. That is, imo, enough for a judge to allow a search of his phone and home. Especially since he didn't go to work that day.

Because I would hate to find out that my daughter was taken advantage of on TV or the Internet while strangers were watching live as well. Jmo.

I believe her friend would have already shared it with her family.

This may have been why they seemed to believe that she ran away at first.

if there was nothing on his phone that would implicate him in some crime then he would have given police his passcode.

there is zero chance she ran off and he "panicked" and threw her luggage away and lied, or he is covering for her.

the police have already said they dont believe his story, if he is innocent then he should take the lie detector test and prove it, if he fails it what difference does it make? they already said they dont believe him.

the pings are off, he didnt go to work.

and STILL he has not been identified, his picture has never been put out there, no description of his cars has ever been given.

someone could have STOOD THERE AND WATCHED that day as this guy got in a boat with a bunch of bags/containers etc and they would still have no idea what they saw because of the way this has been handled.

Katelin is dead, (redacted) killed her. If i'm proven wrong I will never make another post on here again.

especially if there was any type of possible sexual abuse in the past and she was feeling violated already and emotional. this doesn't look good to me.

I agree. After watching the show my hinky meter is up even more with the stepdad. I know the party night happened but that doesn't explain away the step-dad's inconsistencies. If she ran away then why did he lie and not go into work? Doesn't make sense. Her being emotional could have been a catalyst for a confrontation between Katelyn and the ex-Stepdad, IMO.

Wow. I wonder what the update on the Heather Ciccone case would say.

So hopefully Crime watch does that case as well.

Because Katelin and Heathers case were a day apart.

But both families stayed hush in regards to possible suspects.

But now we see that Katelins story is bigger than what we knew last year.

So I imagine that Heather Ciccone case has more to tell as well.

Especially since I am tired of the cops keeping certain information under the vest. While acting like they have things under control while cases are going cold. Jmo

thats true, i was just trying to relate what was said in the story and planned to go back and edit in more details and thoughts

i wonder what she would have thought about the situation (re: was it rape/date rape) after a while to reflect, unfortunately she didnt get any chance to reflect on it later because (ok saving the mods some work here) killed her.

i dont think any family member has ever said anything about that issue, we heard it from Amber and now we have heard it from Kevin Eastridge (friend of Katelin)

Katelin's mother did make a point of saying that having the stepfather take her was a "last resort"

so there could certainly be some friction there because he is being imposed on, they dont get along to begin with, and we now know she was in a very fragile and emotional state of mind

could that have led to an argument that got out of control? i believe we talked about this theory before but now there is definitely more to support it

ie "you should be grateful im giving you a ride at all you brat, all you do is give me grief and your mother pulls this BS on me? you better start showing me some respect and being thankful" etc...

katelin being completely overwhelmed emotionally cant control herself and the argument escalates...

did his coworkers ever even know he was the last person to be seen with a missing person? how did he behave in the days following the disappearance?

what reason did he give the police for missing work that day?
