I live in Norfolk and saw on the news that she was missing. I see flyers in businesses and I am hoping she is found soon.

I "liked" the facebook page set up for Phylicia. The admin of the page posted yesterday for people not to go to Websleuths because it was just a people gossiping. I don't know if I need to post a link with that or not. I didn't reply to the post. I haven't seen anyone on here that seems to be gossiping, just asking questions in order to maybe get a clue as to where she can be found (???)

I am very confused she went to gym and lunch with a friend, told mom she was going home to lay down awhile before work. In one article,The last outfit she was seen in a (pink t-shirt and pink and white pajama pants) so who reported that description? I am sure she didn't do lunch in her pj bottoms? Also him saying the door was locked in the very first video, another article says door reported unlocked/tampered with? so confusing!

Perhaps the admin of the facebook page doesn't locals, friends, and family reading about us sleuthing them... but then again, we are only pointing the finger in the most obvious direction.

I don't know that that was what Phylicia was wearing when she went to lunch with her friend, but my daughter has on occasion worn pants that are like lounge pants or pj pants in public. For a while there a lot of girls were doing that.

Considering the amount of information that is being thrown around among Ms. Robinson's friends and family, that isn't being shared on here... I'd say the facebook moderator's words are misdialed frustration and annoyance with the investigation, lack of progress, and overwhelming sense of urgency. When you are hurting or afraid it is difficult to see people that are divorced from that sense of urgency reviewing facts, distributing links, and networking on behalf of a complete stranger. Unfortunately, a side effect of boards like this are supposition. And this is an easier target to strike out against than the places closer to home that are repeating that and much worse.

It's doubtful she realizes how many people found her page because of this; or that trained/licensed/registered investigators have been in the area following up on leads and information because of this page. I know several that are not active participants on here but because of the wealth of information they keep tabs on it. Why reinvent the wheel?

Whether she likes it or not, people on here are looking for Ms. Robinson, they're sharing the links and the photos and they're keeping the awareness alive. Another woman from Newport News, isn't faring as well in the social consciousness. In spite of a wealth of evidence of foul play, no one is looking for her, and she would be so lucky to have friends within the community willing to look, a facebook page dedicated to her, and family willing to speak for her. But forty eight days have passed and there's no posters, internet pages, or even page 8 fluff pieces in the news about the lack of progress.

After years of seeing women go missing throughout Hampton Roads without a trace or a care, I hope that one day Ms. Robinson will have a chance to appreciate how difficult it is to get the Tidewater communities involved and interested in a missing person's case and thank the people from her neighborhood and work that have done a commendable job doing exactly that.

I wonder what Walmart she worked at in Norfolk?

Im from that area and going home tomorrow. I have a friend that works at a Norfolk Walmart. I will have to ask if she knows her. I will check back on Monday.

This is very sad to me. I have a local news channel on my facebook and I never seen anything about this case.

Not very many places in this area except the ocean.
Praying for her and her family.

Some threads on WS can get heavy into speculation that must hurt if you feel differently or know more about folks close to an investigation. And I know I'd hate hate hate being sleuthed :) I totally understand that.

I always like to throw out that I can be 100% confidential if anyone wants something discussed and not have their identity attached. I will swear on a Bible, sign to it -- whatever -- that I will absolutely keep complete confidentiality. I think that may be very helpful in a case sometime.

And folks can come on just to clear up false information. I've seen that before in cases. You don't have to answer everything anyone asks.

In any case, my deepest apologies if I ever speculate about an innocent person! It's just speculation, something to make the folks who really know things to ask questions and ponder the ideas. I know that I don't know much at all about these cases, so all I can do is raise questions.

Peace :) I hope Phylicia is found safe and well very soon!

I saw that as well but decided not to comment on it, here or there...I was a little bit hurt, but my feelings aren't important. Finding Phylicia is what is important.

To that end, it blows my mind that there is NOTHING new in the media about this case. Nothing. Nothing local, nothing national. I find that astounding. She has been missing for almost THREE WEEKS!

You're absolutely right, it does get heavily into speculation sometimes, but I don't think speculation is the problem. I think when those speculations start turning into rumors and then progress into theories based on nothing... that's where the problem lies. It's normal to ask questions, but everybody should realize, we're not here to solve the case... that's LE's job. They generally know a lot more than we do, or the media does.

I sincerely hope this young woman is found, and my sympathies go out to her mom and her family, especially to her baby.

About her personal things lying on her bed. Is it possible that she just carried those things in her pocket, rather than carrying a purse? Maybe she came home, cleaned her pockets out to change clothes, shower, whatever, and someone came in and grabbed her. Maybe they were already IN her house when she got home, hiding in the closet or behind a door. Stranger things have happened.
Just saying.... I know some women who don't carry a purse, they put their ID, money, keys, cell phone in their pockets. I've been tempted to do the same thing at Wal Mart, because it gets cumbersome to carry a purse around and we have had several purse-snatchings there lately. One woman was dragged trying to hang on to her purse, and ended up almost being run over.

Robinson's ex-boyfriend, Rashawn Webb, who is also the father of her son, was the first to notice she was missing.
(how convenient)

When she didn't answer his phone messages, he went to her apartment to check on her.
(was this the set up?)

So he went to Robinson's mother's house to grab a spare key

"I went to unlock the door. The top lock...wasn't locked," said Webb

"The bottom lock was locked. So I went in, looked around, everything looked like normal. Then I went to the bedroom and see her cell phone and keys on the bed."

"I would never do anything to hurt my kid's mother," he said. "I love her to death.

This reminds me of the almost confession on Dr. Phil the other day with Michelle Warner whos BF confessed just a few days afterwards. Way to much info from the bf early on. Trying to establish a timeline of sorts just to throw things off.

imo

and if the boyfriend went to her folks to get the key, why didnt the parents come with him to her apt? maybe they did and i just havent read far enough. major hink here....moo sounds like he needed into that apartment for a specific reason.

seems that the ex bf may be alluding to someone staging the scene with his comments about the locks... the door knob lock is probably locked from the inside while the "top" lock would require the key and be locked from the outside which whoever staged the scene would have to leave the keys inside the apartment on her bed with her wallet... so, it sounds like she may have went to meet up with someone after she had lunch and then asked her mom to pick up the child, so she could meet up with someone before she went to work... and whoever she met up with could be responsible for her being missing and that person staged the apartment scene by taking her things back to her apartment....or thats what im getting??moo

Or as the EX says he loves her so much.. so may be the EX was jealous of her meeting others and then something happened...

wonder if EX always calls her everyday and if she doesn't pick up the call, he will get worried something happened to her.

Not speculating the above but JMOp.

Depends on what kind of neighborhood she lives in and if others know that she lives alone. But if everything in her house seems perfect except her means either she met a wrong person (SK/newdate) or the EX. Guessing that her workplace had no stalker-problems or it could be another branch to speculate.

I work in the Norfolk Area and I was thrilled to see missing posters up at the local businesses here. The area she lives can be sketchy in some areas, so honestly, I do not know what to think. I have been driving around on my lunch breaks just searching for anything suspicious. If it is any relation, there were 4-5 cops cars trolling the same neighborhoods I was yesterday, and they seem to be on a mission. I can only hope it is related to Phylicia. We are looking for you, Phylicia. Time to come home.

Bumping again for Phylicia...3 weeks now, still no news. I'm trying to think of ways to get her story some national attention. I'm not a fan of Nancy Grace by any means, but I'm wondering if it's worth a shot to try and contact her? Maybe if we could get a whole bunch of people to reach out, some kind of letter writing (or email) campaign?

BTW-I think some of the animosity towards WS was based on early speculation about Phylicia's son's father...From what I'm reading on the Bring Phylicia Home Facebook page, he has been cleared by LE. After seeing video of him, I also do not sense any deception on his part-and I'm pretty good at gauging that stuff.

Does anyone have ideas about how we can help get Phylicia's story out there? Anyone willing to help? :please:

I think I heard Steve Harvey has a new show. I haven't seen it or know of any way of contacting him. But if we could even just get him to put up something at the end of his show or right before a commercial break that would at least get her face out there.

LE HAS to know more than they're releasing to the public. They have to have some clues as to why she disappeared. Don't they? :(
