I cant believe this. This is so strange!

I'm confused. I thought I read that the owner of the property had done repairs to Philicia's apt and was ready to rent it out. Wouldn't he have noticed a body in the closet? Was it put there recently?

I believe the body was in the other apartment. That one was still occupied by the guy who killed his girlfriend.

Phylicia's apartment had been renovated and was ready for rental.Which I found strange since she just disappeared on Oct.3.

Ok, maybe the parents of the man that killed his ex-girlfriend own the duplex. They were cleaning the one belonging to Philicia in order to rent it out. The mother found the body in the closet and called police.

So that's probably why no one smelled the decomposition. At least no one but the man that put it there.

BUT then again, when Philicia went missing didn't anyone check her home, her closet???? Was she somewhere else until recently? That is IF this is Philicia.

Rest in peace Phylicia, I was searching for you. May the monster responsible rot in prison. :jail:

My sincere apologies for suspecting the ex-husband. I had such a difficult time reconciling the fact that the ex said that the door was locked when he went to check on her and then later on after he had a key that only one was the locks was locked and the door looked like it had been damaged. I just couldn't imagine the killer going back to the scene of a crime so it was easy for me to blame the ex. Now, I can how the killer could revisit the crime scene easily without being detected.

My sincerest of apologies to the ex husband and my humble condolences to the family.

I wonder what else this guy has done. I somehow doubt he waited until age 29 to start commiting acts such as these. I have been looking at Sharon Jones, missing from Norfolk since 2002. The locations are only 6 miles apart. I would be interested to know where Graves lived in 2002. He was in the area as early as 2001.

Interesting.
I wonder if he was involved in the disappearance of Kathleen Haley of Newpot News (about 37 minutes from Norfolk by car) on 9/1/12.

A man convicted of killing his neighbor in Norfolk has been sentenced to a another life term for the death of the mother of his children in Virginia Beach.

Jamiel Graves was sentenced to life in prison without parole on the capital murder charge against him in the death of Mandi Myers. Myers was strangled to death in November 2012...

In April, Graves also pleaded guilty to capital murder in the death of Phylicia Robinson, whose body was found inside Graves’ closet in Norfolk in 2012.
