Hi posters. I have been lurking for some time, reading and trying to catch up on threads. I am not up on your justice system, even though our borders meet. imo the DA did not procecute either because they were scared, or they didn't want to try to define which one of the parents was responsible for the death.

Alas, an unfortunate loophole in our justice system- when two parties are suspects in a murder, it seems charges can't be filed unless the DA can name ONE of them as the actual murderer. This is insane. Two people involved in a murder are BOTH murderers IMO. They can sort it out in Hell. :furious:

Ebay has hundreds of discussion boards about all the items sold, as well as general topics. They are not chat rooms, they operate more like this board.
Anyone can lurk as a guest, but to participate you need an eBay ID. I mostly post on the DOLL board. We are a pretty rowdy group, and beset by trolls on occasion. (Trolls being people who post inflammatory things just to rile people up).

My suspension was (and don't read further if you are easily offended) for telling someone that "I have chunks of people like you in my stool".

The doll board is full of menopausal women and gay men. The gay men are Barbie EXPERTS! They know from memory every doll and outfit by name, number and when it was produced.
Every once in a while someone has a meltdown and gets into it with someone.
There is a "REPORT" button that appears on every post. People can report offensive posts, but sometimes they just push the button just because they don't like the poster. The eBay boards are moderated by LiveWorld, and those Mods are outsourced to countries where English is not necessarily spoken. They don't even READ the reported posts, they just issue warnings. When you get enough warnings, you get a suspension. Mine was for 7 days. I also got a warning for telling that same person that I wondered what their head would look like on a stick. Some people are SO sensitive!

I don't sell on eBay, but people who do sometimes have their auctions interfered with by Trolls and stalkers. People there think I'm in the Federal Witness Protection Program (isn't everybody in New Jersey?) so nobody messes around with me.

I don't sell either,but the only problem I've had as a buyer is that someone or someones tried to hack my account (actually they did hack it once,bf I wised up) after I posted on the 'want it now' board.hackers must target that one ... I got lots of fake emails and offers after that.

Hi, please do not feel the least bit intimidated, because as far as I am concerned, this case can always use a "fresh" opinion. If you find the case interesting, as I do, you will zip through the books in no time. It is a fascinating case any way you look at it.

Alex Hunter was known to have said he wanted a sure thing a confession. Again I point out that a sure win would have required what the law cannot demand, that being one spouce to testify against the other. This is a prime example why to this day they have never prosecuted. As long as John never testifies to the truth of that night they can bring no charges against him for any role he may have played and Patsy can no longer break her silence or confess. What remains is what Burke may or may not have known or will ever speak of. That is only my opinion. Didnt John say there can be no victory? I cannot help but wonder the true meaning of that statement. They were christians and the bible teaches that there cannot be forgiveness without the first confession ...... I cannot know if that is what John meant or not. I have wondered though.

CK-I do agree. JR did not get to the top, by being "slow" He is clever, and any shortcomings regarding the law was looked after by the lawyers he hired. With regards ro BR, imo he will probably not speak about it any time soon. I really don't think he could have slept thru the noise thaat must have went on that night.

Also the Ramseys had years to give Burke all the sole and undivided attention and subtle suggestions and persuasion that if he had heard anything it was not what he thought it was. He may know but have as he put it......got on with his life. I find it particularly tellng that he drew a picture of their family that did not include Jon Benet so shortly after her death. That is highly unusual as normally for a long time she should have been included in his family self portraits, I also think it fits with his living in the shadows of the pagents and all the attention that gave Jon Benet. I also cant help but think it will one day it will all have to be dealt with bigtime ! What a legacy!

I have never ordered anything from EBAY, in my entire life....nor have I ever been to their website. I know what it is though, but one day...I got an email saying that my credit card was going to be debited, and that my order was on its way!!!!.....HUH!?!? What order?? I didn't place an order!!! Or give them my credit card number!!! I just emailed them, and never heard back. The product, whatever the heck it was, never arrived...and as far as I know, my CC was never debited.
