And was he driving a car? Who's car? Left dog and camper at friends, Did he swap/borrow. IMO
I saw a previous post that the gas station was less than a mile away.

Did this happen in daylight or darkness?

Was she walking along a road that others would have seen her?

He says it was 1 in the afternoon on Saturday when she got out of the car and walked off.

I'm not buying the 1pm out of the car pissed and walked off in an area she isn't familiar with story. I would buy the out of the car and walk off if she had a phone and in an area where she was able to call someone for a ride or something. Then LE couldn't find him but his dog/camper are at a friends. Then they find him ( he may very well be staying at the friends) and now the guy who didn't report her missing is willing to talk to LE? IMO

The sheer fact that he didn't report her missing, tells me everything I need to know. The question is, where was she really left. Do they live in NH or did they recently move to VT?

Has the husband said…..was she walking along the road, or did she walk off into the forest, or neighborhood, etc?

I can pretty much guarantee that the story, as told, differs from the reality of the situation. IMO she was never walking on that road on Saturday afternoon.

It's going to be a long night of interviews with LE, I imagine.

Not absolutely sure she’d have great phone reception where he says he left her off. There are places with poor reception in that general area but with the elementary school and a settlement of quite a few homes near that intersection, you’d hope so.

According to Twitter, there will be an update tonight at 9:30.

I know…I agree….sigh.

These guys…people used to believe this story where the missing woman blows her stack, and then takes off on foot, and nobody knows where she went. We all know better now…

Sadly, I agree. Hope they’re able to narrow the area she might be. The police say Northfield, NH is where they currently live.

So she could be anywhere between Northfield NH and Bolton VT. :(

I think she would most likely have fine cell service

It seems like they are familiar with the area. Lots of pictures of both of them in Vermont and they both lived in Vermont at some point

Earlier this evening it was reported that there was a converted camper bus parked behind the Vermont State Police Barracks where Joseph Ferlazzo was brought to be interviewed by detectives. Although it has been reported that Joseph and Emily were traveling in a camper van, there is no confirmation as to whether or not the camper van parked at the barracks is related to this case.

HAPPENING NOW: There’s a lot of movement behind the
@VTStatePolice
barracks. The major crime unit vehicle is here. There’s also what appears to be a converted camper bus parked nearby. Working to get more details.

If it was in fact 1pm on Saturday where he said two things come to mind: 1) There would be a lot of people around. It is a commonly traveled area. 2) It rained really hard a little bit later on that day and it was also very clear that it was going to rain. I am think she/they would have taken that into account in terms of outdoor activity planning or hiking, but also that she would have tried to get inside somewhere, or that someone would have stopped to offer a ride if she was walking along that road. Furthermore, someone would also maybe be more likely to remember someone walking along Route 2 or the access road during a down pour.

The fact that the major crime unit vehicle has arrived makes me sick to my stomach.
