WA WA - Adre'anna Jackson, 10, Lakewood, 2 Dec 2005

I was watching a blip on the news on TV. Adreanna's mom is in Colorado tending to a sick mom and her Stepdad was mowing the lawn. Why do I get that sick feeling?:waitasec:

I feel ill, physically ill. I have followed this case for a long time and really developed a soft spot in my heart for little Adre'anna. My goodness, how terrible and terribly sad this is.

So close to home, yet so far away.
She was just a skull and a spinal cord. Did animals get to her or nature itself? Either way, what a grotesque way to die.

This is just so, so, so sad. Prayers for Adre'anna. May she rest in peace now.

:(
I would say that due to the area this is in, animals most likely scattered her remains, alot of times, animals that feed on other dead bodies will take a part of the corpse and move back into the woods with it to finish eating on it, this is how the remains are scattered. I am sure that with the statements le has made, they will search a large area to recover as much as they can. animals will useally scatter the remains in an area of about 100 to 175 yards in any direction. so I am sure le will recover a good portion of her body. it would be good if they could find fingers that have finger nails intact, if so, then there could be some dna material underneath if she scratched the one that assulted her. it is sad that search teams did not find her sooner, since there was little vegitation cover in that time of year. does anyone in that area know if they ever used helicopters to fly over the area during the first few weeks of the search? had they done so I feel she would have been found within the first few days or weeks. as I have said before, I feel the stepdad is involved, had this been a sexual preditor in the neighborhood, I doubt that he would have waited till that perticular day to abduct her, due to the fact that there were too many other times of oppertunity for that to happen, since she often went to the lake by herself would have offered a much easier oppertunity to do such an act. didn't le locate all the offenders in that area and question them? the stepdad stands out to me, he had the time to do this, and since he had offended her once, it was a matter of time before he did it again. as one of you said, this little angel just wanted to have someone to love and care for her. how sad of an outcome for such a beautiful child. it just breaks my heart to look at that innocent face of hers. god will punish the one that did this to one of his angels.

Becba reporters asked that question.LE yesterday said no clothing or backpack were found.
That makes it even sadder to me. Just thinking of her naked little body left out in the elements. No respect for her at all. It leans toward sexual abuse which we have all suspected.
At least she is found and LE has a little more info to follow.

This whole thing just makes me ill. Always hoping for her to turn up alive, but knowing deep down it wouldn't happen. I really hope the community bands together and demands answers. Also I really REALLY hope that she is given a wonderful, huge, beautiful funeral with a white casket and lots of flowers. The little girl who was found murdered in a dumpster and the community gave her a wonderful funeral comes to mind. I hope the same happens with her.

I wish there were more willing people to take in foster children. Many people are outraged at the treatment children get at home, and they don't know what they can do about it. Well, the foster care system is in SOOOO much need of good loving homes for these children to go to. And THAT would be an excellent way to make a direct positive impact on a child's life.

Adre'anna...Fly high with the angels. You are in my heart and you will never be forgotten.:(

I keep thinking about those kids who found her. Were they her age? Did she go to school with them? Did they know her? Can you imagine the added horror if they DID? :( God be with those children, as well. Adreanna is in Jesus' arms and has been since December. She was so beautiful and precious.

I don't know why but I have felt all along that her mom knows exactly what happened to her.

Poor, poor child. I'm absolutely heartbroken.

Wasn't she seen on the bridge headed toward that general area AFTER she was reported missing? The sighting was discounted, wasn't it? Maybe those witnesses need to be requestioned.

Perhaps she wandered away from school when she found it closed and got too far from home. Some predator may have gotten her then.
Or, we all know the other theory. I sure wouldn't be cutting the grass after hearing my daughters body was found.

I feel the neighbor knows something or is involved in some way. I don't think flying over they would have found her if she was buried in a shallow grave under bushes. Also the 2 kids that said they saw her the night before on that side of the interstate were discounted I think the le will be talking with them again. As for the stepfather mowing the lawn could be a release or just mind numbing activity not that I feel definate one way or the other on his involvement. My husband would do something similar he is not verbal and it would allow him to be alone with his thoughts.

Police say they have talked with two girls who may have been the last people to see 10-year-old Adreanna Jackson.

Sofia Morales and her cousin, Serena Woods, told police they saw Adreanna sometime late Friday afternoon on the grounds of Woodbrook Middle School, just a couple of miles from Adreanna's home in Lakewood, Washington.

If the girls are right, detectives say it establishes a point in time at which Adreanna was last seen, about eight hours after her mother said she left home for school.

It does not explain where Adreanna's been for the more than 48 hours since then.

The conversation might have also revealed something about Adreanna's state of mind the day she never came home.

The girls told detectives their friend Adreanna seemed sad.

I brought this post over to show what the two girls said about AdreAnna. Note the girls said AdreAnna was by the Woodbrook Middle School.

On the first page, post #1, the first searches for AdreAnna included the Woodbrook area.

Big question, was AdreAnna's body there the whole time, and LE missed it during the search?

I just cannot stop thinking about her. I would much rather she died from exposure than to have met up with evil. Please let that be the case.

They said she seemed sad...I hope that she is at peace now and is running happily amongst the angels.

I guess it's how he has not been around for ONE press conference. He is there but not there, he knew the press was all over. I would be out of there and to a friends or hiding in the house. I just have that creepy feeling with this one.

I forgot how cold it was when she went missing. Maybe she did wander from the school and stayed in the cold to long. I have always hoped it was not her parents. Despite what some felt, I didn't get the vibe from the videos that they did it. Slowly I have begun to doubt. I don't understand about mowing the lawn though!
I read about a blizzard that killed school children in the last of the 1800's. Many people had taken their clothes off because the last part of freezing before you die makes your skin burn and you feel very hot. Course that is a long shot. It bugs me they have not found her coat and the rest of her clothes.

The mother had past her lie detector early on. The stepdad's was inconclusive.

I am tickled pink, I was mentioned, actually we were mention (WS) in a blog that I read and they have an entry about Adre'anna called a final farewell.

http://nvfc.us/blog/2006/04/06/adreanna-jackson-a-final-farewell/

Steve also mentions mizStery.

He had offered a thousand dollar reward when she was missing, and reading his blog he extends that offer to finding whoever is resposible for her death.

if she died of exposer, her clothing would have still been at the scene or very nearby, if the colorful clothing that she had on that day would have made spotting her easy during a ground or air search. it could be possible that she went over there by herself, if so, is it possible that a school janitor or maintence person saw her and assulted her and placed her there, then discard the clothing in a dumpster? maybe le should take a look at some of the people that were working at the school that morning. how far from the school to the location of where those remains were found? maybe she knew kids at that school, so she went there to see if that one was open? seems our children aren't safe with anyone now days. police officers, school teachers, social workers, cab drivers. and now the director of home land security. how safe are our children and who are they safe with? parents raping and killing there own children, what has this world come too?

There were a bunch of workers in the field cleaning it up over the past few weeks. They may have come across the clothing and simply trashed it.

There was a bulldozer that went over the ground - that's where they are getting the idea the remains *may* have been buried - but there is no proof this happened. At this time all is theory/conjecture

Let me give you an example/scenerio:

It had snowed heavily on the day Adreanna vanished. Lets say she did wander over to that area and found a snow fort that some of the kids had made earlier in the day. She climbs in and the ceiling collapses suffocating her.

As the snow melts and uncovers the remains animals feed on the exposed remains and do indeed take them to the shrubs (skull and spine). Months go by and the workers are called in. Someone sees a jumble of childrens clothing - mouldy and very dirty, along with other trash. Takes their shovel and scoops it, in a clump, into a wheelbarrow. Since the skull isn't there the other bones may have been inside the clothing, and the worker didn't see/notice them.

...only problem is the police force are investigating the discovery as a homicide.
