WA - Four killed in Pilchuk High School shooting, Marysville, 24 Oct 2014

I read social media last evening that confirms your theory. It does take 1 or 2 days for the organ donation process to be completed. (We have seen this in a couple of instances in the last year or so....)

I am more familiar with Lakota beliefs and organ donations. The belief held by many Lakota members is a part of the body should not be left on the Earth after death; they are not very open to organ donations, although this is very, very slowly changing.

NA belong to a separate country. They have dual national NA/tribal and US citizenship and have control over their own affairs. As to the lack of information, my guess is the tribe is not giving this out. Perhaps you recall the Red Lake (MN) school shootings. Tribal members there were overwhelmed by the media attention and uncomfortable with outsiders offering help.

I was going to copy/paste part of this, but it is so informative that I wanted to share all. It appears the tribe is very independent and offers a lot of social services.

You'll find what they offer is common to most tribes at least here in the Michigan area. They are extremely self sufficient and take a great deal of pride in doing so and taking care of their own. There is truly a strong belief that it does indeed take a village to raise a child and they actually do practice it vs just giving lip service to the concept.

What I have noticed. There is a myth that school shooters are bullied and/or misfits. Truth is a school shooter or any rampage killer is anyone. They can be outcast or popular.

Jaylen Fryberg has an extreme sense of entitlement. His sense of entitlement fuels his envy. Fryberg is likel a constant complainer. Constant complainers are self absorbed and narcissistic. He shares characteristics similar to Elliot Rodger, Ron Haskell, Jodi Arias, and Lori Drew.

I agree with your first paragraph, but we really don't know JF well enough to assess him in this manner. It would be better if you had stated "IMO" (in my opinion).

Should of put it, but I would think almost everything posted is an opinion and should not be taken with a grain of salt.

The fact that the shooter's victims were some of his best friends is what makes this shooting so hard to understand. He probably ate lunch with this group on a daily basis. He may have had a beef with one of his cousins over a girl, but why did he shoot all of his friends? I've seen one girl tweet that she was the only one at the table who wasn't shot. If the teacher hadn't intervened, she probably would have been a victim, as well. Of course, I can't really understand the mindset of school-shooters in general, but the actions of this one are particularly perplexing.

They are huge around here!!!! They have quite a bit of land and profitable businesses on their land. They have a walmart, homedepot plus various casinos~~i also think that the outlet shopping center is on their land. They have a business I truly hats around 4th of July named "boom city". It is sad to be driving down one road and xvery five feet or so you see don't drink and drive and names lt those who lost their lives do to drinking.
All of our schools have elements of drug problems ~im grateful mine choose go say no ~~not all do. I am also surprised at the sexton! Goodness!!!

This isn't the thread to debate it, but I can't think of any school shooters that weren't seen as loners/antisocial/having problems etc.

I'm so glad Nate is doing better. Has anyone heard anything about Andrew?

Still critical -- but then again twitterville seems to know more!

I realize this tweet was from the morning after, and it appears Gia is no longer injured. She is now a fatality. :rose: Another bright light extinguished.

However, this image, of the four of them together, takes my breath away. They reached so many milestones together. I envision class pictures and yearbooks with their smiles, captured for posterity, over a decade.

Now, their circle is forever broken.

I keep asking myself the same question....

Why?
