OK, I was going off to bed (happened to click on the news) and find out the suspect is not yet caught ? I guess I jumped the gun on it and thought the reports meant that the perp was shot and apprehended by LE. So, he's still out there somewhere ?

Huckabee is never going to "own" that he was the one who ultimately granted this moron clemency. He's going to deflect the blame to everyone else who had anything to do with the process. That's just how Huckabee "rolls." Trust me, I live in AR, unfortunately.....That's not to say there are others who should share in the blame for this moron getting clemency, but Huckabee ultimately signed the order.

I don't know whether it was Huckabee or Tucker that let Wayne DuMond out, but DuMond went on to rape and kill at least two other women in Missouri after he was let out. The interesting thing to remember about DuMond, is that NO ONE in AR would agree to let him live in their county. So, he had to come up with a plan that would move him out of state or he had to stay in prison. Unfortunately, Missouri took him and he went on to commit more crimes. He died in prison awhile back.

Does anyone know what the felony warrant this moron has is for out of AR? I am just wondering if he was paroled to WA on inter-state compact or if he ran out on his parole here.

I want Huckabee to admit he is human and made a terrible mistake granting this man clemency. Is that so much to ask for?
Instead he acts like a coward and blames the states of AK and WA along with the prosecutors (who by the way were adamant that Clemmons not be granted clemency) He blamed everyone possible except for himself.

I live in WA and have watched 5 officers murdered in less than a month. I am angry- I am not against pardons and clemency but I am against someone pretending their hands are clean when they are clearly not.

Yes, "may be dead". I find those reports a little concerning, either you know he's dead or you don't. The early reports were confusing and made it sound like he had been shot and that LE had him (that may have been my interpretation only, I shouldn't speak for everyone). Anyway, I check back in to find that they did not locate him yet...trailer contained no perp. So, now they know he has been shot and he "may" be dead...well, call me silly but, I'd like proof.

Well, I was hoping by the time I got up, they would have caught the POI now suspect.

From what I could ascertain from the various articles, it appears when the guy allegedly committed the crime he was driving a vehicle. LE located that vehicle last evening. The suspect then got a ride from someone? to the present location. He was bleeding profusely, which is why LE is saying he may be dead. FWIW, I believe he got the wound during the initial altercation with one of the four officers. That officer was then shot dead and the guy got away.

They've arrested several people with regard to this investigation. I think it's for helping the perp in his quest to avoid LE.

I can't tell if he had that tracking device on his person during the crime or if he removed it prior.

Just like yesterday, things are still a little sketchy. When they originally said they were searching for two suspects, one male black and one male white, they weren't certain that the second man was involved. They must have decided he wasn't which is why they now are just persuing Clemmons.

I know this is maddening because we want it over, but sometimes it's better to take their time. After all, time is on LE's side now. They need to be sure there is no further loss of life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the officiers families. I am stunned and find this to be just horrible. Officers put their lives on the line everyday for us and to be gunned down by a manaic is just too much. This is a very sad time. This low life should have been locked up for life.

This officer looks very tired, I believe he's been up all night. He said he just came back from Seattle? Anyway, I think he meant the scene where they have the suspect cornered

I think they are basing that he may be dead because of blood and possibly a blood trail leading away from the crime scene. Until they find him or his dead body then of course they cannot confirm. IMO, they must have found a lot of blood lost. Maybe not only outside the coffee shop but maybe in the vehicle they found.

I did not see or read anything that said the police had him but I could have missed that though.

They will continue the massive hunt looking for this monster. What we want really doesn't matter. These police officers have lost 3 brothers and a sister police officer because of this . NO ONE wants him found anymore than they do and they will leave no stone unturned.

God be with all the police officers up there who are grieving and the many family members who have lost so much.
