I don't know if you guys reported this already or not, but NW News had a girl on there saying LE looked through a park today where there was a lot of blood on a bench. They are wondering if Clemmons was there, too.

I posted right after that an article which said possible abdominal injury. I'm not sure either unless it's determined from the blood trail, like maybe something in the blood indicating internal organs?

I believe they got the information about him being shot in the stomach from someone who'd actually seen him after the crime. That's, IMHO, why last night they started saying he could even be 'dead.'

Unfortunately, it appears he's not d e a d !

He should be losing a lot of blood now, unless he is in some back room with some medicine woman chewing on a stick and puring whisky down...he could be too week to run and hide...
I think it is a question of time but I think he is traped. SOON would be great.

I'm hoping they have DNA blood match from blood in truck to compare to other "blood" locations to be CERTAIN it's his, KWIM?

McDonald said the key to the investigation was the light-colored pickup truck spotted by a witness right after the shooting. The witness reported that Clemmons got into the truck.

An alert Pierce County deputy quickly found the truck abandoned at a grocery store parking lot in Parkland. The truck was registered to Clemmons, McDonald said.

At the crime scene, the investigation and land search continues. The Pierce County sheriff's dive team is responding to search a pond at a nearby apartment complex for any possible evidence.

Arrests warrants have been issued for Maurice Clemmons in his two pending Pierce County cases.

The warrants are for failing to comply with the conditions of his release.

One warrant states: "A bench warrant should issue for the reason that the defendant has violated the conditions of his release by committing new crimes, to wit: murder, on or about November 29, 2009."

The warrant calls for Clemmons to be held in custody until he appears in court and is signed by Pierce County Judge Thomas Felnagle.

"NO BAIL WILL BE ALLOWED," the warrant states.

These are the third-degree assault and child rape charges.

"We didn't expect him to be here," said Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer. "We are serving multiple locations to collect evidence against him and against those helping him evade us."

Troyer said investigators will be serving multiple search warrants throughout the night, multiple locations in multiple cities in an attempt to eliminate anyone aiding Clemmons, "from possible medical aid to giving him money, to hiding him out, to transporting him around."

"Our ultimate goal is to get him into custody, but a part of that plan going to be to make everybody's life miserable that's helping him. And if they want to go down one by one, that's fine with us," Troyer said. "And our goal by doing this is to take everybody out of the equation that's helping him. That way, he'll have nobody left, and have to fend for himself."

Troyer also said some of those who have helped Clemmons have tried to mislead police.
