Is it possible, and I'm not excusing anyone's actions here, that The reason Jenise's parents may have felt comfortable running the neighborhood is because she was with older kids/teens? Maybe it was sort of an understanding that the big kids watch out for the littles? I remember being able to run free as a kid so long as someone older sibling (10-18) was with us or responsible for us.

Are we allowed to post twitter posts here if it involves search warrant?

I think if it is MSM twitter than it's fine.

I've been following this forum for a couple of days now. I am absolutely amazed at how on point your theories have been. I also have lived in the neighborhood and still have connections to people who live here. I'm frequently there (except now they aren't allowing non residents inside the MHP). [modsnip] I'm sad for both families and this community. This is a touchy subject but I hope to help as much as I can. I hope I'm not causing any problems. If this is against the rules let me know and I'll delete this post. I really admire you guys!

Welcome! Sorry it has to be under these circumstances. My thoughts and prayers are with your community.

Welcome! Do you happen to know if LE is planning on staying at the MHP throughout this night? It seems like people who live there are angry and I worry about the safety of the 17 yo family.

1 of 3 vehicles towed near home of #JeniseWright. I'm told warrant was served at home, which can include vehicles pic.twitter.com/d6iw14DQVJ

Search warrant for home and the cars at the accused residence. NickMcGurk@KIRO7

I just hope Jenise was able to scratch him or break his nose or hurt him somehow and leave a mark on him. Poor little one. JMO

I keep hope alive that she bit him very hard, left a perfect bite mark that can be identified with her records

Resided with the parents..? ...humm seems as if the parents were not protecting Jenise outside of the home as well as inside....failure by the two people who were blessed by such a beautiful girl.
She was only 6 and needed her mom and dad to be there for her by watching her like any child deserves.
When my child was 6 I never turned my back on him. Poor Jenise...:(

I didn't take this as meaning the perp/monster resided with little Jenise's parents......I interpreted it as him having lived with his parents. Couldn't have lived with hers if LE don't know for sure if he knew him.

Thank you to everyone for their well wishes! Regarding LE, I *believe* so. An hour or two ago, I got off the phone with my source and they said that LE were still outside of the suspect's house. LE have been very good with providing security at the park...they take down everyone's IDs and ask questions to anyone coming in. Like I said, absolutely no one was allowed in as of yesterday unless they lived there. I also understand that LE is still investigating further to see if there is anyone else involved. So, IMHO I'm guessing they'll be there throughout the night. I definitely understand your concern about their safety. I spoke to several neighbors who are VERY angry at not only the suspect but the family. I'd hate for anything to happen. They're a lovely family...it's shocking that this happened. They were indeed there at the vigil last night. I don't actually know but maybe it was a surprise to them as well. That or denial.

He lives with his own mom and stepdad, not Jenise's.

I really hope there's no one else involved. Was the suspect at the vigil too? TIA

I just do not know how to feel personally about this guys family. As far as these people being a lovely family...you just do not know what goes on behind closed doors. In my family members case, his family was thought of the same way (well, by people who interacted with them on a surface level; the mother even had a daycare in her home for most of his childhood). You just can't know. MOO!

Suspect was there at the vigil. It hurts because it feels insulting and yet again, I really wonder what went through their head when they saw all the people celebrating and mourning J.

I don't know who would be responsible but I would hope that Kitsap County has a victim services community outreach for this community just in case heaven forbid this not a ''one time incident'' so that others may come forward and get the support they need.

I agree. Id say this is another reason why neighbors are so angry. I do know that one of the family members were posting about J just like the rest of us were. They seemed scared for her. You really don't know. It's scary.

Victim Services do an awesome where I live. I highly recommend members of the community to take advantage of any counselling services available. I am sure many have been traumatized by this murder and they may not fully realize the need for support at this time.
