The stepfather of the suspect said 'he was home all weekend.' REALLY? A 17 yr old stays in his home the entire summer weekend? Why? Was he grounded or something.

Mine just came home to eat or change clothes, and then were gone again. Hard to believe that he was home ALL weekend.

don't forget to add $$ or car keys from parents ......they will show up for those things too which begs the question did GG have a job for the summer if not why not?

I'm trying to remember back where I read Jesise's dad said he last saw her around 10.:00 pm in bed.

I think GG may have a younger brother /could be a cousin or not related at all... I have no idea what age he might be, but I would guess he could have been friends with the 8yr old brother as well. I saw a picture of "guys" I thought perhaps they were all siblings.
I know GG had 2 brothers. My question is did he have 4 or 5 brothers? I also saw an older sister as well?
Large family I believe...

They did indeed. GG's address is listed on the probable cause as the location of the crime.

Could the strap be the item of apparel LE was referring to?

He might have carried her in a bag and forgot the strap or it broke off of the bag.

I imagine wrestlers have gym bags for their stuff.

Was he a football player as well?

I assume he got the pallet from somewhere or was it down there already?

Carrying her and a pallet? A couple of trips?

Blows my mind. Tyler Holder had all kinds of things that were unsavory. But this kid does not scream out, does he? He does now, but before?

People are either rising and preparing for a church or still asleep. Children may be up but they are not out and about out of respect for other neighbors if nothing else!

Agreed. Some random kid rang my doorbell Saturday AM around 9 looking for his friend's house and I was annoyed. If the neighbor kid was at my house for breakfast that early I'd be so mad! I wonder if this community had quiet hours. Our HOA stipulates nothing loud (including talking and playing) before 8:30 am.

I sincerely doubt that LE would include the sighting at 10 PM if they have reason to not believe that is true in the affidavit. This would cause a "disturbance" (for lack of a better word) if and when there is a trial. If they had reason to disbelieve the time at 10 PM, I think they would have stated the last time she was definitely seen. I think that the siblings were old enough to provide evidence to LE and would have either backed up or disputed the timing. My opinion.

I thought that, but with the blood stains and semen both being found on the crotch area, I think it's likely they were put back on her. You'd have to make a special effort (as a male) to wipe yourself off on the crotch of the panties and the crotch of the shorts. Occam's Razor: It came directly from her body. She put them back on, then bled vaginally onto her own clothes, and semen left her body along with the blood, landing right where it was found.

I find this rather curious:

From the Notice of Arrest:

"alleged to have been committed by you on or about August 2, 2014 through August 7, 2014"

I will speculate they believe the murder/assault took place on the 2nd and the extended date out to the 7th was the ongoing concealment of the crime, delay in providing DNA, etc.). Also please note, the police report does NOT say "Between the 3rd and the 7th", it clearly states between the 2nd and the 7th is when these crimes took place. And here is why I believe that:


From the Certificate of Probable Cause:

"James told KCSO in August 3, 2014 at 0700 hours, he noticed JPW was not home. It is not unusual for JPW to play outside with friends for extended periods of time,and normally JPW checks in with family every 2-4 hours. It was however, unusual for JPW to be gone from the house that early in the morning."

Now let me ask you this... could she have been in bed at 10:30 Saturday night and also be outside of the mobile home somewhere being brutally attacked at the same time? Obviously not. Clearly she was already gone at 7am (assuming that statement was truthful).

So, how did she get from being snug and safe in her bed at 10:30 to being out there in the woods somewhere with a monster?

It sounds to me the ME could not narrow down a TOD and often when that happens the affidavit will have a wide range of dates and will usually go by the last time the victim was seen up until the date she/he was found.
