Question - didn't the LE "mark off" an area at the dump where Sky might be when the dogs hit on the trash chute? I thought I had read that here. ?? They should start searching there - as I don't believe Julia's story either about running out of gas considering her car HAD gas...

What I do is select this thead as "Favorite" saving it in my "Websleuths" folder and marking which post number I need to read next. Saves time in hunting down a thread I was reading and wondering "where" I left off! :findinglink: LOL!

:congrats: Seajay! You look too young to be a great-grandmother!! :peace:

Any updates on this?? TIA!!

:seeya:

I haven't disappeared, don't worry. I'm here but I'm just updating all the media links at the moment, as a lot are broken because they've been archived. It takes a while. Worth it though - gotta make sure anyone searching for info on little Sky can find it easily.

:banghead: where are you?

Maybe next year our little man will be home with Solomon for Fathers Day... :sigh:

Julia..you are SO selfish.

Up, up you go. The Sky crew will never forget you little man!!

I know that it bothers everyone here that Julia's family has never done a single thing to help find Sky. This fact gives us all hope that the reason they haven't is because they know Sky is safe somewhere.

I think back to Cindy Anthony. The second she realized that her daughter had been lying to her and that little Caley wasn't with the "nanny", she phoned police (she also smelled the awful smell in the trunk of the car, or her husband did). Would like to think that Julia's Mom would also call police if she finally realizes she's been lied to.

I'm pretty sure LE marked off the area that trash from Veloce Apartments was taken to -- but that it was only marking off the area of the last trash dump or last week of trash dumps, something like that. Because Sky could have disappeared anytime between April and November, they weren't able to cordon off that large an area.

I think they haven't searched it because they don't know when he actually went missing and, even searching a day's or week's worth of trash is a HUGE expense in terms of time, manpower, and money -- let alone searching an area of over 6 month's worth of trash. And, it's not just the trash from Veloce -- it's from the whole neighborhood. I think it's probably not even humanly possible for them to search all the trash dumps from April on. But, that's just a guess. I think the actual prospect of finding Sky's body is pretty bleak because of the flimsy timeline -- but, they need to rely on other evidence and tighten up this case!

ETA: Congrats, Seajay, on the new addition to your family! You must be over the moon!

Hi! thanks for the response. I was thinking maybe they should "talk" with M, Sky's older sister. They could cut down that timeline (April-Nov) at least! Maybe as almost two years have passed she might remember more. Just wondering if they have tried talking to her yet?

Since M was so young and probably couldn't put into words the things she remembers from that day, I'm wondering if she would be able to now, that she is more grown and has more words in her vocabulary. She might have a better understanding now that didn't make much sense to her then as to what happened that day to her little brother. Maybe LE should try to interview her again. She holds the key to the answers. Even if its as small as being able to tell that Sky was not in the car that day before she and her mother set out.

ETA: Thanks for the congrats on our new little man in the family. He's so precious. And handsome too. Just as me, I'm not biased in any way, I'll tell you he's the bestest, cutest, most handsome baby boy that ever graced the word. :)

Did someone just say almost two years have passed? Whoa... unreal. Who ever could've thought it'd go on this long? I pray someday when he's bigger he can find out that he is missing and come home to his family who loves him so much. (I've always believed he was overseas.)

I wish I could say the same, but I just don't think so. It would have taken a tremendous amount of organization and clear thinking to get Sky out of the country without a trace. I'm not so sure Julia was capable of that, to be honest. Despite her OCD with cleanliness and health, she strikes me as a bit all over the place, to be honest.

They've had child specialists 'interview' M on several occasions since Sky was reported missing. These specialists have expert ways of getting information out of youngsters and can also help narrow down the timeline by focusing on things that would have been present in certain seasons -- i.e. heat, swimsuits, Halloween costumes, Fourth of July festivities, etc. If M remembered Sky during any of these key seasonal moments, it might help narrow down the timeframe. I'm positive they got some good info from M, especially on how JB treated the children in regards to withholding food and keeping them isolated. M's words aside, they have the fact that she was underweight and malnourished when taken from JB's care -- and missing a brother. Come on, LE!!!

re my bold - now IF M has said this, couldn't LE arrest JB for THIS!! I mean - isn't that "child neglect"??? You would think LE would do something to get her into a cell and hoping she would talk at the least! :banghead:

Checking for updates and thinking of our Sky. One day closer little man.

Thinking of our boy tonight. I feel so helpless in answers of what happened to little Sky. I wonder if the Bellevue PD would consider hiring a renowned psychic to help fill in the blanks. I don't know who is reputable or reliable but I keep feeling like there is something out there that could break this case wide open.

:bump: our little man back to the top of Page 1. We won't give up on you, Sky!!!!!

Snipped by me.
I just noticed that your avatar is of Tripp :) I follow his progress on Facebook.
Anyways, sorry for the OT.

Yes, I follow Tripp. My heart breaks for him and his family. He's making great progress. I can't wait for the day that he speaks. I just know he's going to say Mama.

For those that aren't aware of Tripp, this is his FB page:

In October 2012, he was at daycare playing outside and a huge tree limb fell and hit him on the head. He has a traumatic brain injury. :tears:

i have no experience of this whatsoever, but the more media links I read about about Julia's behaviour, the more I think it's possible she had post-partum psychosis that went untreated.

Does anyone else think it's a possibility?

http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/expertadvice/problemsdisorders/postpartumpsychosis.aspx

It would be interesting to see when her symptoms began; however, I don't think that her symptoms really fit with psychosis. I do wonder if whatever mental issues she does have did start postpartum. Interesting! We do know that she has issues that should be treated - and if I remember correctly, she denied needed treatment for said issues.

My heart is broken today for a new little angel taken to heaven during the night.

:sigh: Where is Sky? Wouldn't it be amazing to find out that he was still alive and hidden somewhere??!! Where is the outrage that Sky is still missing? Why did JB's friends stay quiet?!! :sigh:

Help up for the little guy.

I can't figure out why no one in Julia's family is raising Cain about Sky missing. It goes back to me like they aren't raising a fuss because they know where he is. There isn't any urgency in anyone in her family.
