What on earth do Julia's friends and family think of this? Why haven't they come forward to help organize searches for Sky, if she's not capable of it? All I see is Solomon out there, trying to find him.

I can't believe friends and family would turn their back on a little boy in such need of help, but it looks like they have, unless I'm somehow missing all the work they are doing to help find Sky.

Can anyone point me towards any links where Julia's relatives and supporters have come forward to help Sky?

BBM. I'm sorry. I can't point you in the direction of something that does not exist. But, if you want proof of Sky's father coming forward to help Sky, I could take up the rest of this thread. Solomon, we stand in solidarity with you!! Zwiebel, so glad you joined this case.

Every time I hug my cat, I feed her, trying to fulfill her wish for certain food, I am thinking how she cant open fridge and take it by her self, I am ashamed, because of you little boy, because even my cat has more than you had with your heartless mamma, except she is hides you safe somewhere which is also crime towards your father and sister.
I have two grandchildren and my heart is with them all the time. I can't understand your grandma. How they can breath, eat, laugh......how they can continue to live their life?

Love you baby boy

When Julia advertizes that she is a Mom of two, I wonder what she will say if any sugardaddy wants to meet her children?

'Oh, sure - no, wait, hang on a sec. I lost one and I don't see the other. Stuff happens, uh?'

Sky's Dad has been extremely patient and kind, I think. He was very gentle with Julia at first, and appealed for her to help. Unfortunately, I think that is what all the people around Julia are accustomed to doing - helping her, because she always has problems and always needs help. In my opinion, she always will.

We all have to make choices sometimes. If the choice is between a fully-grown woman and a defenceless baby boy, a person should choose the baby boy, in my opinion. I would like to know when Sky's maternal relatives are going to come forward and start really searching for Sky.

It doesn't even matter if they are in the Ukraine - they are almost next door to me. I'm sure that we could sort out a pan-european search for Sky between us.

There's a 'Good Parent - Good Start' campaign running in Ukraine this year. It is promoting 'positive parenting' and says that public awareness is key. I would think that applies especially to tiny children who go missing after being left alone in cars. Perhaps Sky's Ukrainian family members who have been silent so far should take note? I mean, their silence is growing pretty loud to my ears now...

I've been sitting on this thread going through it from the beginning. It is taking a while. A few things stuck out to me.

There is an early article where Sky's maternal uncle (Julia's brother) makes a rare comment. He tells the reporter how Julia was really upset when she called him on Sunday - how she was 'screaming' and 'crying'. That's good, he's showing an interest. Even if it is in Julia, and not our little missing boy. But he then adds how he hopes 'they find the child.'

Pardon? Isn't that a bit....well, distant? This isn't some stranger's child you heard of in passing - this is your nephew. It's not 'the child'. It's your sister's son. Your blood kin. A better term would have been 'my nephew'.

I am starting to wonder now - about how exactly Julia's family viewed her marriage. How much they cared about her husband, or the children of that marriage, or if we should ever expect any help from them.

JB's brother totally creeps me out...

Way up thread somewhere, one of the awesome SKy Crew members posted the still shots of the interview he did. He was soooo casual about the whole thing..so "detached". I dont know how involved he was in Skys life, but he acted like he was just some dude off the street being interviewed about some random event...instead of an uncle speaking about his missing baby nephew.Gee...how cold can you get?? It must run in the family.

To be honest, I wonder how much they saw of Sky? Julia seems to have shut herself in a little world of incessant cleaning and moving from house to apartment and back again. I don't know if that would have allowed for family visits.

Still, brother seemed concerned enough when he spoke about Julia's crying on the day Sky disappeared. I'm just waiting to hear that same kind of concern expressed about Sky.

I just wanted to jump through the screen and grab him and scream "He's not 'the child', he's YOUR NEPHEW...your flesh and blood!" He's so nonchalant. I can't understand this mentality.

I have a 4yo son who calls his Grandma every day. We missed calling today and if she doesn't hear from us sometime tomorrow, she'll have someone texting me to make sure we're okay. He is her everything. Sure, she loves her children (my brothers and I..and my husband), but her grandson is her everything.

It was last thread. I pulled the post that has the screen shots of Stan's interview and the second one has a screen shot of his car.

The other thing I couldn't help noticing was how quickly LE called off the search in the area of the car, and turned it towards Julia's apartment instead.

Posters here were surprised, and some of them predicted an arrest within days. It was quite sad to read that, so long down the line. For a little while at least, it looked as though Sky's case might be cleared up quite quickly, and even though it would have a very sad ending, there would be closure.

Someone in this world knows exactly where this lovely little boy is. They need to tell what they know, in whatever way they can. This isn't something that is going to go away.

Thing is - Julia showed us she tells lies. And exactly how she tells them. With an element of truth, so they'll seem more believable.

"My husband is a sadistic muslim Pakistani." she told a reporter.

1) Solomon is Pakistani born. Truth.
2) Muslim. He is a practising christian, corroborated by a pastor and a completely unconnected poster of a store/cafe review site, and himself. Lies.
3) Sadistic. Julia alleged domestic violence. But one of her two children disappeared while in her care, the other was removed from her custody, undernourshed, and then custody was awarded to Solomon. Zero evidence of 'sadism' from court, LE or Solomon's words/actions. Lies.

So now I'm wondering about Sky's disappearance. Did Julia tell 'partial truths' and outright lies there? Did she do this with LE? With family and friends? Do Julia's family and friends have previous experience of her truth/lies storytelling, and could it help Sky's case if they came forward?

I'm sure it's been said before but this case stinks to high heaven. Who in their right mind leaves one child by the side of the road in an unlocked car for an hour while they take the other one with them to get gas? YOU TAKE BOTH OF YOUR KIDS. Period.

Either the mom has zero common sense when it comes to child safety and basic parenting 101, or she did something to Sky and made up him disappearing. How old is M? How old was she when Sky disappeared? Depending on her age we may find some answers in her if she's able to access her memories.

I think LE did say they were able to talk to her, but they were not able to obtain any useful information.

The thing is....I don't know if they were allowed to speak to her immediately, with a neutral adult present, or if Julia was present. And, there was that awful 'custody exchange' that Julia recorded. Our verified family law attorney gitana1 made some very telling points about that at the time.

I don't want to cross any lines, but I think when a child is very young, truth can well be what the adult you depend on tells you it is, if you know what I mean. And if any amount of time passes.....what you have been told, can actually replace anything you really saw or heard, imo.

I'm not sure if Sky's sister can help, although I am sure she would like nothing more. There is a chance, I think, as she gets older, that fragmentary memories will 'gel' into a whole, that she will be able to interpret as an adult. I doubt she'll ever remember anything that could help bring Sky home though. I don't think she knows where Sky is. Just (maybe) where he wasn't.
