What about suspicious statements from Julia? They are considering that, but still looking at all other possibilities.

How will they make the determination? He trusts the people working with him. The moves they are making strategically are the right moves in terms of Sky and the investigation.

He believes they are doing the right thing by not bringing Julia in at this time. They continue to reach out to her through her attorney. They continue to make requests.

He won't characterize her as being "uncooperative," just that they haven't asked specific info. from her in a couple of days.

They are not comfortable calling her a suspect or POI. They are keeping an eye on her whether or not she might leave the country. It is on their radar. They have an understanding about where she is.

They are NOT providing her housing. They still have custody of her apt. They are not sure every piece of evidence has been gathered from there just yet.

Still catching up on this thread, so I apologize if this was already discussed. I'm having a real hard time believing that the statements in the court document posted up thread with the Dad's response to the divorce/custody/child are true. He and the kids were not allowed back in the home after they left? And, they all had to wear the same clothes every day, though we have seen many pics. of them wearing different clothes?

According to the GMA interview this morning, he has not yet spoken with M since she was taken into state custody. Why??

I'm not accusing Solomon of taking Sky, but his actions are questionable, IMO.

Daisy, at first I thought the same thing . . . but I think we should compare and contrast the dates the pictures were taken with the court filing dates. IIRC the pics of different clothing and food being offered to the children were part of "staged" photos for the court to make sure she had evidence to dispute the declaration SM gave.

I think CPS got involved with the kids when the Target incident happened . . . it is unclear to me if CPS placed the kids out of the home (ie: foster care or kinship care) at that time, and that is the 7 months JB was referring to on the audio recordings. I don't know if SM had custody of the kids during those 7 months or not.

From a lot of the pictures, they appear to be taken all on the same day @ certain events. There are some pictures of Sky with his Dad that appear they could have been taken at some sort of visitation center or even a Dr's office. What appears to be a visitation center is the room with the toys on the floor and the multiple chairs lined up against the wall. There is another small child in the background . . . it might be a preschool but my first thought was a visitation center.

According to the court records, there are 3 declarations from SM entered in Sept and Dec of 2010 and again Jan 2011. There is one reference to a report for CPS status on 1/31/2011. That is the only reference to CPS involvement in this Superior Court filing. (Juvenile and Family law courts are usually different). IIRC the Superior court handles divorce, parenting plans, etc.

Photos I have seen of other peoples children (and my own) were taken a few at a time over long periods of time. The time reference to JB's pictures appear to be on specific dates with hundreds of pictures taken on just those dates. Makes me wonder if she had access to a camera all the time.

The strategic decisions they are making are vetted by multiple agencies. They are confident they are doing the right things.

What else do they have? He can't comment specifically about abduction, coercion, the custody battle, secreting him out of the country.

Mood of investigators and how are they holding up? Thanks for the question. He says that everyone is holding up okay, but they are bringing in fresh eyes and fresh resources when they need to.

I think they have been running a parallel investigation from the get go, imo. Even if they arrest JB and bring her in, imo, she won't talk... but let the charges go forward. Walking on egg shells.....since she may voluntarily commit herself again. iMO

Well that was a pointless presser. I'm frustrated they won't apply more pressure to Julia. It seems as long as you keep your mouth shut and avoid the police you can get away with killing kids. They are really coddling her here. He said that she has given no interest in meeting, no response to their invitations, yet they hold out hope that she's suddenly going to volunteer that? At what expense? Seems pretty obvious to me that she is uncooperative. Time for a change in strategy.

Good for them. It seems to be getting harder and harder to prove things in court these days. They will have a really good case against her.

As long as they know where she is and she has zero contact with M, I am fine with them waiting until they have more evidence before they charge her with anything. I would prefer they have everything lined up first so that there is no chance of her getting out of jail before they are ready to charge her with the more serious charges. By letting the public know that she is still not responding to their requests for another sit down interview this is putting some pressure on her and her friends/family.

I agree. It also puts SM's interviews this morning, demeanor and deliberate answers with his attorney by his side in a little better perspective, IMO.

Ok I get it now.

I've been frustrated with the lack of urgency in the investigation, the continued coddling of Julia. If they thought Sky was alive, then the info she has would be extremely time sensitive. The sooner the better. If they believe Sky is dead, there is no urgency. More meticulous documentation for a conviction. Thus, I think LE believes Sky is no longer with us Otherwise they'd be leaning on her harder to find him.

If her lawyer is touting her instability saying she is fragile, how much of what she would say could be held up in court if it comes to that? It's proven she has mental issues. ??

**Where is she staying now? Same hotel and someone else is footing the bill?
