Just before 5 p.m. Thursday night, the King County Sheriff’s Office says several people called 911 saying they heard multiple gunshots in Skyway near the intersection of 68th Ave South and 124th St.

Within two minutes, investigators say they arrived to find a black car parked on the side of the road off 68th Ave. -- the doors ajar and inside a man and a woman dead.

Sargent Ryan Abbott said investigators don’t believe the 37-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were killed at random.

The shell casings get entered into the NIBIN {National Integrated Ballistic Information Network} Program to try to figure out if the Skyway murders were linked to other crimes anywhere else in the nation or more closely -other violence in south King County.
