Was/is Shawn abusive toward Billie?

honestly, I don't think she'd get in trouble. It might void the order, but I'm not even sure about that. Actually, I think she could lure him under some pretense & then call the cops & he would still get in trouble. Once he's served, he's to stay away. period. I know someone who was served with a similar order & she had to be very careful to not fall for the guy's or his families' tricks. MOO.

Exactly right! She could use the order to her advantage. It makes me so mad when I hear about people who obtain these orders for just this kind of reason. It's not a game - well, not to me it isn't.

I have believed from day 1 that BD is the person responsible for Hailey and SA did the cover-up ... of course, I could be wrong ...

If she felt that Shawn had done something to Hailey, then Billie should have gotten the Protective Order right after he failed the poly or when he was named a "poi" ...

She probably told them that hoping sa would hide and they wouldn't find him. When they did she had to come up with something. Just a theory on my part. She was caught in a lie so she tried to turn the table and make someone else responsible. PO is just a follow through to make people think she is not in cahoots with him. in my opinion.

Let's say your child went missing. And you had no idea what happened, you were clueless, just like Billie claims to be. She admits she has no idea what happened.

If the FBI, the investigators, and the Texas RAngers ALL told you that they had one main suspect---your live-in boyfriend---would you ignore their warnings?

Even if I wanted to believe in my boyfriend, I would put my child first, and wait and see what happened. She never did that. She thought a 'little bit' and decided he was innocent. Even up until last night, he was living with her.

Doesn't that make you a bit suspicious? After she learned about the child and bestiality even?

This case is getting too ridiculous. I just found out about this now and I'm at my mom's telling her about what's happening now with Billie (she follows on NG) and now I am drinking red wine in utter disbelief at how pathetic BD attempts are to save face. I think it's a little too late for that now. WHERE IS HAILEY???? Shawn will sell her out to get a plea deal, he knows where his is and if she's implicated with any of it, she goes down. IMO this is yet another antic to garner sympathy and it's LAME!

This is the same tactic she pulled when attempting to distance herself from SA after they failed their polys. It's her sad excuse for damage control.

We've heard it before...as posted by her friend on 1/26/2011 after the failed poly "bombshell"...

After she found out Shawn failed his, but before she took hers, LE asked her if she wanted to file an emergency TRO - she said yes, of course, because she didn't want him in her house if he failed the poly.

This is actually going to be hilarious now because she has drawn her line in the sand. She has been having little battles with locals like Hailey's Angels, who report sightings of them together on various FB's.

BUT NOW, all systems GO! Everyone will be sleuthing them at all hours. No way she will be able to sneak him in the backdoor anymore. She is forcing their hand and they will be on top of it from this moment on. The hills have eyes, Billie.

I don't think she's being truthful since when she called 911 to get LE to guard her house because she didn't lock her doors. If she was really worried about him she would lock her doors IMO. Also, I still think it's funny she called him mentally handicapped or disabled on something like that during that call. Now after all the previous drama, her daughter is gone. She's still with him and now we're being updated that she's really not going to 'rekindle a relationship with him in the future?' I'm not buying it.

Here's what I can tell you about Protective/No Contact Orders:

I have a no contact order protecting me from an abusive ex. It clearly states, "You can be arrested even if the person or persons obtained the order invite or allow you to violate the order's prohibitions."

So, Billie could contact him - she won't get in trouble.

And YES, she has a copy of the order if one exists. I would bet anything it's a temporary order. A court date will be determined where both parties appear and the judge will deny or grant the permanent order.

It is easy to obtain a protective order and you don't need an attorney to get one. It's not a fun process, especially if you have to have a person prosecuted for violating the order and testify against them in court, like I did.

Do we know she did for reals... pinky fingers and believable.... DID get a protective order?

Since she is currently married to Clint, and divorce takes time, unless you go to Vegas or Mexico, idk. She probably doesn't want to add more charges.
But it's as good as any excuse to be caught 20 miles from the Mexico border. ..........

So, where is Hailey. LE was at gm's house for 10 hours. I thought surely she was there...

That's why I made that comment in response to the poster's comment "a backyard wedding and a quickie divorce". It reminded me so much of the Cummings/Crosslins when Ron married Misty ... just so many similarities between Hailey Dunn and Haleigh Cummings parents, live-ins, families ...

My statement was more in "general terms" of husband-wife.

So as to a "minor child" I am not sure -- If there is a lawyer out there reading, please verify about wife-husband confidentiality regarding a minor child. Thank you !
