Was/is Shawn abusive toward Billie?

Well I don't think she's to far from being slow, I haven't seen her brain winning any races, during all of this.

JMO...Billie has never struck me as slow or of below average intelligence. Out of the gate, from the start of her many taped appearances, she has always struck me as at least of average or higher intelligence. She made N Grace "work" during one of her several appearances on her show before she gave Grace a straight answer.

Billie continues to strike me as bold, unafraid to twist, dance, and weave in front of the camera, to reporters, to LE, etc. IMO, she's a seasoned manipulator. I don't believe this is a new skill recently acquired by Billie.

We can keep this subject on topic by discussing it in terms of the protective Order. Now that she ,supposedly, has taken out this order, Shawn will not be able to 'hang out' on Chestnut Street anymore. She has said that he is her 'support.' I think she lost DD from her home because of that 'support.' And I bet she lost many loyal friends, like Cz, because of that 'support.' And she lost the help of many dedicated searchers as well. And now she is going to be pretty lonely.
She most likely has lost her job--the one she had for 7 or 8 years already. What kind of job will she be able to find that is as steady and consistent as that was?
Her mom and her little brother are standing by her. But it is going to be tough, imo. No kids at home with her, no job, no money coming in, not much community support left. Things are rough.

Yup, and if it wasn't for the fact, that she brought it all on herself, one might feel just a little bit sorry for her.

Friday afternoon Dunn invited CBS 7 into her home to discuss the arrest.

I love the way they worded that. LOL

She said she did not want Adkins to be at her home Thursday and when authorities arrived she didn’t know what to do.

Here we go--back to the 'damsel in distress' mode. It has worked so well in the past she is bringing it back.


Dunn’s mother Billie, says she wants the focus of the public and the media to be less on her and more on the search for her daughter.

Dunn admits she lied and said she didn’t know where Shawn was at the time. She says moments later she invited investigators inside, at which time they quickly found Adkins.

I haven't a clue LMAO One was taken in the first search warrants. He must have replaced it and one got taken recently. So I don't know what he has anymore.

Well I won't argue about her being a seasoned manipulator, but I've known a few of those and they don't necessarily have average or above intelligence.

The mother of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn said she filed a no trespassing order against her boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.

Billie Dunn said investigators found disturbing messages about her in Adkins' cell phone Thursday. She didn't wish to go into detail, but described the content as "threatening."

Dunn said Adkins can't come on her property for a year under the order she filed Friday.

"He made threats against me. I don't think he sent them anywhere. They were just on the memo pad...I got scared and I didn't want him to be able to come over here at all anymore," she said.

So SHE filed the no trespassing order against him. She says: "I don't want him to come over here anymore." NOT I don't want him near me anymore. JMO She can still meet him anywhere and date him but NO NO NO you can't come inside the house! :snooty: This is getting really weird.

Could it be possible that the no trespassing order was made by the judge and was a condition of her bail?

OK the way I understand a no trespassing order is that LE can issue it. For example when I used to manage in retail a had some peeps that would come in and give me a hard time, trash the store. I called LE and right on the spot they issued a no trespassing order. It is for a year.

I hear this all the time on the scanner too. With several jurisdictions I listen to in different states.

Now this would fit. They called Billie Dunn's bluff. They don't want Shawn hiding there. They don't want him with Billie. They are trying to keep them apart. So this would make tons of sense to me.

Billie tells the story he was there against her will. LE says oh really. So we can help you with that let's issue a no trespassing order, problem solved.

Shawn has threatened her before according to the affidavits. Didn't bother her, even after he was the last person to see her daughter. Even after he called her missing daughter, H, promiscuous. Even after he failed his poly. Even after LE suggested that she stay away from him. LE knocks on her door, and Billie lies to LE stating that Shawn is NOT in her home.

Memos on Shawn's cell threatening Billie (never sent to her in any form), and now Billie files a No Trespassing Order against him.

Give me a break...I thought Shawn took the Drama Class (in HS).
