They are using this "a witness calling in" stuff all the time in the courts in this county. I think's it BS, too.

The federal courts have been doing this for quite some time, now, and it works quite well IF you also have a live video feed - that's my criticism of this approach.

He says there's a problem with quantity of DNA - that if the sample is very small, the entire sample can be consumed by one test and it should be made available to the defense for independent analysis.

Oh- I missed that- which side? I just can't believe Jose doesn't have multiple cites for every single one of his requests. The judge actually had to help him out a couple of times. He is in way over his head IMO. I hope she doesn't eventually get to overturn any conviction due to ineffective (incompetent) counsel.

I think the only motion of concern is the secret search motion for KC...I agree w/other posters that the other motions are not that big of a deal, its stuff they'll eventually get access to and no one wants muddied waters/violation of discovery coloring the appeal they'll have to file when they convict KC of murder.....

Well those are all different types of evidence so differnent rules apply
