Is JB that lazy? Part of being a lawyer and doing your job properly is going out and spending your time to interview and follow up on your own leads! JB is driving me crazy with all of this, state-does-the-work-then-hands-it-to-me thinking!

Well think of it this way: If the ship is sinking are you still going to swab the deck and clean the heads?
hehehehehehehe:crazy::crazy::waitasec:

He's so perplexed, he knows they're being televised, he's trying to tell JB, without totally making JB look the @$$ that he's looking like to any counsel out here watching, and essentially he's been telling JB over & over, through most every motion "I don't think I need to remind the state of their duty!" It's like JB is wanting ruling on his belief that the state MAY in the future violate something.

It appears he is not wanting to set up KC for an incompetent attorney defense. He is doing everything he can to help Baez so he won't appear as incompetent as he is. LOL

I loved it when the prosecution said, in a round about way. "Obviously Mr. Baez has not been able to verify a ZG or he wouldn't be concerned with getting this information".
HOW TRUE!! :clap::clap:

Now, if JB hasn't availed himself of the discovery materials already available to him and he shows up at HIS OWN MOTION HEARING asking the judge to "make her gimme' everything she's got," someone please tell me what exactly he has been doing for the past month....anyone?

  • #787
what are they doing?

  • #788
" I am sure mr Baez has conducted his won search and couldn't find this phantom ZG "

LOVE IT

I'm listening online and they're having a sidebar but I could swear that a few seconds ago I heard a female voice say, "Yahoo!"

Thats a wrap...see you all later! I think Judge Strickland is hungry!

  • #791
That's a wrap, see ya later ~ haha

Watching JB I keep remembering the fact that Mommy and Daddy have the really experienced criminal defense attorney (Mark Nejame), and KC has Mr. Baez. No sympathy for KC at all, but you'd think it would be the other way around, wouldn't you?

JB not getting his way with the secret bench meeting--kept shaking his head and looked to his partner for help

Monday -- Strickland will rule on the other motions . . .

Can you please elaborate what you mean, for us who aren't too familiar with law? Thanks! I am so confused!!!!!!!!!

Okay, my Dad, retired police chief/FBI, career cop, investigator, detective, etc. I talked to him about the case - I asked him about the neglect charge, murder charge, check charges

He gave me an example - Rodney King in LA, he was acquitted of all wrong doing in that case - BUT the federal government convicted him of the same crime - the state lost, federal government won

So the State established today, that the federal government is doing their own investigation - Baez is requesting these documents and the State can't give them to him, he has to petition the federal government and the judge agreed, Baez can't have them

So there are two investigations - Federal and STate

When is judge going to rule on the 3 matters he didn't rule on, especially the home confinement thing?

  • #798
Besides the confinement motion, what were the other 2 he is deciding on Monday?

  • #799
Well, it was nice to see Baez in (in)action.
