It’s MOO and guess that if there had been a record of SP trying to call DP on the night/early morning of the day or night in question we would have a verdict by now.

Is there a hold out or two you all think?

#DrewPeterson jury just had lunch delivered for today. They've been deliberating 2 hrs 45 min today, more than 11 hrs total over 2 days.

I am not ready to say that yet. I think they are going through everything carefully. If by this time tomorrow they are still deliberating then I may start thinking there are hold outs...JMO

There must be differences of opinion or we would have heard from the jury by now. The question is can they all come to agreement or do we have a hung jury?
Speaking for myself, I pretty much know if I believe the defendant guilty or not before I go into deliberation. I leave myself open to argument, but have pretty much resolved whether or not the State has met their burden of proof. I would say the hold out is because of doubt of it being an accident or homicide and also placing DP at the crime scene.

pending and past lawsuits......Drew Peterson had a healthy size list on there too.

I don't know how far back the cases go, but it is an online searchable database of cases.
The Savio family still has an outstanding civil suit against Sgt. Peterson. (wasn't it funny how the DT kept referring to him as Sgt Peterson during their closing)

When DP is found guilty(notice I said when not if)

Just thinking that a GV may open the doors to any trial he testified in

Does anyone have any information on any trial(s) DP was involved in...as an officer?
Or what the law is in IL

to Woe.Be.Gone
IIRC, his father was the strict military type.
Mother was the good little housewife.
I cannot remember any news on her.
I think she has kept out of all this.
I do not even think she was at the trial.
The last I heard of her in any way is when the brother
(moved Stacy blue barrel and tried suicide)
I believe she was there with the son.
I often wondered if he tried suicide or did DP help him out KWIM???

Thanks passionflower.
So DP's father was the strict military type. If he was the old school type that couldn't/wouldn't listen and was undemonstrative regarding giving out affection, that might have altered DP in a negative way. He picks women who look up to him, showers them with attention in the beginning and when the natural process of newness wears off, DP reverts to anger - just as he always felt about his father. I'm picturing a father entering the home as the gestapo, never demonstrating any genuine affection ~ the do not cross me or else type. Since no one else can cure another person of their psychosis, after the woman who is there to fulfill DP fails to live up to his expectations, he has to get rid of her as, in his mind, she's been disloyal and is eliminated. How's that for amateur psychology?

Is there an official record that DP was in the service himself? I haven't found one. Or, did he fabricate his father's stories?

With this in mind, DP's mother did what she was told and, in her own way, is a strong woman.
She had no control over the situation as she could not change the behavior of the stone cold father.

Jurors are having lunch. Brodsky says they are not deliberating over lunch. But that's not certain.

maybe they read a few post here like MINE that stated I wouldn't hire them for a speeding ticket. That I think how they handled themselves was a death to their case load. LMAO Now they playing favor to media *gag*

Of course it wasn't my post...just laughing as if it were but knowing it wasn't. I'm not in denial here. :floorlaugh:

Ya know, I wouldn't hire them either - people like us would most likely never need to. The sad thing is, they'll always have plenty of scummy potential clients like DP to chose from.

Ok, I'll text the judge and let him know it's ok to go ahead now.
