Are juror 5's notes still available to the other jurors to review? Or are they thrown out along with her?

No -- they would NOT be available for other jurors to review.

Hopefully, an attorney here will be able to tell us IF they get thrown out now or later when they throw out the other jurors' notes after the verdict !

It's one thing for him to put her down in calls/texts, but his definition of gold-diggers + mention of a "date with an axe-murderer within" in that final post was a public humiliation she wouldn't and probably couldn't abide.

Yes, SmellySquirrel, Arias feels free to journal that she thinks Travis may be bi-polar, definitely not a Law of Attraction compliment or positive ideation. She also sums up the aspects of his behavior that are hard to cope with, mood "snaps, maybe bi-polar". There is nothing in her over all farewell recap about any physical batteries. Many thanks to gcharlie & DebinGa for those journal pages. If Travis had been physically abusive, certainly she would have been glad to put paid to that. But there are no hints of Nurmi's "beatings" or ALaV's "battering".

In her tense efforts to escape the traps she saw in JM's cross, ALaV contradicted herself regarding whether the Continuum corresponded to the Snow White fairy tale, denied that Is Snow White a Battered Woman? was a lecture on that very topic, denied she has presented Arias as Snow White, could not decide whether the Snow White analogy pertained to abuse in childhood or abuse as an adult. Her testimony was a large serving of spinach past its due date.

In the previous thread this morning you replied to my post where I was voicing my very real anger and outrage at the antics from the gallery behind the defendant and her counsel.. and I asked the question of why this behavior was allowed..

you replied to my post by stating that this took place outside of the view of the jury, as in they were not present in the courtroom at the time of the open displays of laughter, animated faces, and complete disrespect and disregard for JJS court and the proceedings taking place..

I'm not sure you looked at the photos?

Because in the photos it is very clear that these unacceptable actics were occurring DURING THEIR PAL, ALV'S TESTIMONY ON CROSS BY THE PROSECUTOR!

THE JURY ABSOLUTELY WAS IN THE COURTROOM AND HAVE A CLEAR, UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF MISS ALV'S PALS OPEN DISPLAYS OF INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS AMIDST COURT IN SESSION, WITH WITNESS TESTIMONY ON CROSS EXAM..

I wanted to make sure that was corrected.. be not mistaken these antics are taking place in this jury's presence and exactly why I am outraged.. i could care less what these ppl do or how they choose to behave outside of this proceeding of a death penalty trial..

The jury is in the courtroom and Tiger Balm's photos illustrate this fact.

In the first post I thought you were pointing out the pics of them leaving the courtroom that were in the post. I posted later that the laughing was admonished because it was in open court in front of the jury.

Maybe he was saying a "sin-in", like a "sit-in"? No matter, same point.

Either I never knew, or forgot - Juan says Arias told the police they should check out Travis' roommate Thomas Brown!! This is when she called Flores to "help". Anyone else remember that? I must have blocked it out - my husband may have been abusing me at the time by not rubbing my feet - and he KNOWS I like that!

I thought the same thing. If she supposedly isn't watching the trial, then how did she know he would come at her so hard unless she was coached. There is no way it's a coincidence that both she and JA had the same reaction to him and tried sassing back.

Especially since ALV made the comment about Martinez 'coming at her like that' - that comment sounded similar to what Jodi said about his style of questioning. He's passionate and imo has more than a right to be. Just look at the crime scene photos. That's reason enough for his anger.

By the time the Snow White banter started the family was home so I couldn't turn up the volume as my kids love Snow White. When ALV said "it was just a catchy title", did she not know that there are videos of her speaking about it on YouTube? Oh that's right, email is a challenge for her.

I found her snarkiness towards The Prosecutor very offensive. NONE of the state's witnesses acted like that on the stand when the defence team was cross examining them.

I can't wait for Dr. Demarte.

Yesterday was a day in hell for me. Had a colonoscopy first thing yesterday morning and after my daughter took me home I had complications and had to go back..................figured that I would be home for the start of trial or would only miss the repeat and rehash of the last two days. Found out last night that I had missed Juan and was forced to watch HLN to catch his cross. Got too sick to watch and today trying to see what I missed. Thank you to all who posted what was going on. Can't sit too long today. I do see what Juan is doing. He is showing that ALV is making her "guideline" fit every case she is involved in and of course she ends up arriving at the very same conclusion, ie., that every man is an abuser and every woman is the abused. One size fits all, to her.

I saw 2 clips on afterdark on hln. first one showed jodi dad speaking about how jodi was crying for 4 too 5 days when she heard Travis had died.. on the second clip vinnie showed det.flores telling the father that jodi called him that same week everyday ..anyone knows where that second clip can be found online?.
