Reflecting back on AlaV's testimony at cross, since we have no new material. She is amazingly defensive and the closely, affectedly modulated voice is not a good disguise for that. It may be her prime technique in dealing with people but, with her eyes squinting shrewdly and her challenges as to what Martinez is trying to make her say, she gives herself away utterly. If you are thinking about where an examiner is leading you, you are definitely not speaking candidly. The truth is not your objective. Because Martinez called her on every refusal to answer Yes or No, she was exposed as circumspect about her beliefs in her field and her opinions on the defendant. Coy she is not. The ultimate affront was when she sought to put the cross examination on her terms by demanding the prosecutor speak to her like she was speaking to him.

Women like ALV think that they are superior to men. They think that they can outsmart them and show them to be the abusers that they think all men are.

I knew I was right to reserve sympathy for the killers family. I knew there was a financial motive for SA's note taking. I knew that she wasn't there to support her child, she was there for the payday. I am sick that I am right.

Yeah, Sandy surely has a screw loose too. I feel sorry for Jodi's father, but the mother is very disturbing.

I honestly don't think that she knew anything in the beginning, after watching that initial LE interview with her. But, she certainly has come around and seems to see Jodi as a possible money maker for her with her artwork, any book deals, etc. Shameful!

If the Dr Phil posting is true, which it probably is,it just makes my blood boil. I have been trying to get my courage up to post on the PTSD thread, as I also have it and what happened to Travis is what I thought was going to happen to me during my kidnapping and rape by an escaped inmate with an 18" butcher knife and our gun that he found in our house while he spent the day waiting for us to return from work. The problem with our justice system is until the perp is convicted they seem to have more rights than the victim.

I am sure Travis's family was told by JM not to speak to the media as it could cause problems while prosecuting the case,that is what we were told. Meanwhile they still have real life bills to pay house payment, utilities and insurance. For those of us that have to work once vacation days are used there is no safety net if you are a victim or family of a violent crime. JA on the other hand has a place to stay and food to eat. But because of her Travis's family has had their lives turned upside down and through no fault of their own have to spend money to see justice for their brother. May God bless them and hope this trial ends soon with Justice for Travis.

I agree with you and I wanted to say I was so sorry for what happened to you. I can only imagine the horror you feel having to hear what this monster did. You are in my prayers.

I want to know what's up with Matt McCartney. Arias goes to see him BEFORE she kills Travis, he is the FIRST person she calls AFTER she kills Travis. there is SOMETHING UP THERE. This needs to be looked into a LOT MORE. He has either HELPED her with this crime or something. Martinez is up to something with the line of questioning he has done over and over with the comments of "McCartney is someone that won't betray you is he?" Martinez has brought this up MANY times and I just cannot for the life of me figure it all out. I am rewatching Day 22 of the Cross of Arias and he is bringing it up there again.

I just wish we knew the truth but when the victim is dead the real truth will never be known.

I have read a lot of the texts and emails but the one where Travis was so angry and upset is different. Something very serious happened for Travis to be that upset with her.

That was one of the things that made me so livid yesterday when ALV took it on her own to be a crystal ball reader and said it proved he was an abuser. If she wasn't filled with so much bias she would have gotten to the bottom of it WHY he became so upset with Arias but she seems to dismiss everything that may put her in a bad light.

I don't think he knew she was coming there that day. I think she snuck in. She had his garage key pad code.

Also I've been thinking. lol If Travis was so sexually attracted to her then why didn't they have sex right away? I'm sure a lot of us have had times we have had to be away from our partner and missed them sexually as well and cant wait to have sex with each other. After all she had moved in April and he hadn't seen her since she moved. But according to Arias they go to sleep and sleep until after 1? What couple does that when sex is suppose to be everything in this relationship? What young couple waits 7-8 hours to have sex when nothing is stopping them from having it when she walked in the door around 3-4 in the morning? Something just isn't right.

And to me Juan really cant prove that Travis even had sex that day. I listened closely to his OS awhile ago and the two photos of Travis laying on the bed are the only two of Travis other than the shower pics and crime pics and we know he is not aroused in those photos.

I think the dope even wrote in her journal that she was looking forward to continuing to see the 1000 places, but that they should remain non-physical. As if that makes any kind of sense.

She's a woman that couldn't otherwise afford to be there everyday. It's a symbiotic relationship.
Honestly, it sickens me more that Dr Phil preyed upon Jodi's mother... Just like the network vultures picking at Travis's mutilated corpse for $$$$

I do not know but I think JA has something on MM.....maybe he dealt drugs, has a skeleton, but to be married, know she killed him and still not come forward...I know many of you think he is going to appear but not me. NOT just b/c they posted it as CONFIRMED on FB but I do not think he would be credible. Shanna Hogan (author Picture Perfect) stated it was proven that he forged the fake pedophile letters and the DT could just say he's there to save his own skin (avoiding charges) and that he previously said he would lie for her so I think whatever they could get from points would be taken away in questioning his credibility.
