I put this up last week and it got deleted. I don't know why because I thought it was funny as he11. I've watched it over and over and catch myself singing the song all the time... well, the phrases I remember (I've never been good at remembering song lyrics).

And now thanks to your putting it up again I'm going to watch it a few more times and sing along!
:floorlaugh:

Awesome. This made me laugh and I needed that. Thank you so much!!

ETA: Take a look at Willie at about the 1:00 mark of that Youtube. She's having a "help me Jesus" moment for sure.

Yep! When ya lie down with dogs.....hey wait! I'm laying next to a flealess dog...bad analogy. lol

I can't understand how she didn't see this coming? Not very insightful. She's ...apparently, "Jodi level smart"

It's stunning that she seems to have been completely hoodwinked by an admitted pathological liar (JA) as well. I would expect a professional to be less easily scammed, wouldn't you??

It might be time for her to retire after this trial. :floorlaugh:

Yes! I wonder where Dr. Hare would score JA on his Psychopathy Checklist? I'd love to ask Doc $ what he thinks of either one of those handy checklists. lol

Dr.Hare is actually and surprisingly very accessible. Most that lecture and teach are. Even retired FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt

I think the only time JA has EVER been honest in that courtroom was when she was answering Jury questions and one of them was something like, "why did the camera end up in the washing machine" or "why did you put the camera in the washing machine." Something like that. She looked really puzzled and responded like, "I really don't know how that happened. I'm not sure why I'd do that."

I think when she drove off into the fog, she flipped her lid when she discovered that the camera wasn't in her car...

But tell me if she meant to take it with her, why take the time to delete the pics first? Imo it doesn't make sense. The time frame was incredibly tight, she had no idea when or if a roommate would return. She could have just thrown it in with the gun and knife to take with her. She would reason she could delete later or not at all if she planned to destroy the camera.

Imo she did think that the washing machine would ruin the memory stick and deleting was a precaution. Let's not forget, knowing how to delete a pic is a long shot from knowing about the camera's memory hardware.

I would like to re-read The Anatomy of Evil by Dr. Michael Stone. I wonder where on the 22 point scale he'd put JA?

Wow that's an interesting attachment in your post.

I'd put JA at 22 because she obviously wanted to torture Travis (knife). I rejected 18 because JA couldn't have known how long she was going to torture him before killing him. I suspect she expected to torture him longer than she did, he just fought back and she freaked when he did. JMO

People who are in the act of committing a murder do not take the time to do things that make sense. The fact is that no one knows why people do what they do in that frame of mind. There could have been any number of reasons why she did what she did.

I agree, I think she thought she successfully deleted the pictures and she did exactly what she wanted to do with the camera. Wash away evidence it was ever in her hands, just like she rinsed Travis off, and deliberately diluted the hallway blood. She never planned to take the camera. She may be a murderer, but in her mind, he had that coming.... But she'd never steal...lol

But in the end...the question can always be answered yes or no. This woman is taking it personally and it shows her IMO lack of professionalism. I also think she was poorly prepped. It's up to the defense to rehabilitate her testimony and extrapolate lengthy answers.

If she answered yes or no, she would be doing so much more for her "client". She's so full of herself trying to mock the PA that she just can't do what she's up there being paid to do.

This trial has nothing NOTHING to do with Alyce LaViolette (is that really a real name?). It's about TRAVIS ALEXANDER and his brutal murder at the hand of her "client". She is already lost in the forest and JM has only spent 30 minutes with her on the stand!

I believe there is a time-frame with which to file a wrongful death lawsuit. Not sure what the statute of limitations is for AZ, however. Just thought of it when the mention of JA possibly profiting from her artwork came up. Perhaps there is some other recourse to keep her from getting outside income while incarcerated?

MOO

A Wrongful Death suit isn't filed until after the criminal phase is over as until this trial is done Jodi is - according to the law - an innocent person. If she is found guilty (and she will) whoever is Travis's next of kin could file a Wrongful Death suit, but what's the point? Jodi has no money, and there is no "deep pocket" (like an insurance company or employer, etc.) to sue to make the suit worthwhile. A Wrongful Death suit is a civil case, and the award (if won) is money. There isn't any point to the family spending the money for attorney fees to sue Jodi for wrongful death because they'd spend more money they couldn't even get back should they win the suit... as they say, you can't get blood out of a turnip, and Jodi is broke. A Wrongful Death suit only makes sense if there is a big pile of money to go after, and in this case, there's no money to go after as Jodi has none.

I don't think Travis's family is interested in any financial award anyway... they just want justice for Travis's murder through the criminal trial. Even if Jodi escapes the death penalty, they'd still get the satisfaction of knowing she'll spend the rest of her life in prison.

The only problem I've ever had with all of this is that JA is a self professed camera whiz. I'm an old lady and even I know enough to take the memory stick out. All she had to do was take the stick out, get rid of it.

Something about all this just sets wrong with me.

I'm sure most of jurors know that if JA were "body-slammed" by TA, she would not be alive today. This is a "catchy" term she likes to use kind of like "linebacker" which she knows nothing about. Here is a video of what body slams look like - Imagine TA body-slamming a 125 pound female.....

Oh, my! That was entertaining! Thanks for that! Picture Travis totally nude, soak 'n wet, body slamming little Jodi over dropping a camera. Yea, right!

I think she did want investigators to believe that this murder involved more than one person. She took the knife and the gun but she is dumb enough to forget about the SIM card in the camera. She probably thought she would wash away her fingerprints but forgot about that dang-gum SIM card.....Could have been her fog.

IMO she's a psychopath, her frame of mind was determination and anger. No huge fear response, no huge adrenaline rush.

She even remembered to pack up the KY!

:rocker:

JA saying Travis body slammed her is obviously bs! Then she said it knocked the wind out of her, she immediately got up and ran blah blah

Years ago I slipped off a step ladder while painting a bathroom ceiling, fell against the counter, it knocked the wind out of me and I was on the floor for an hour just trying to get my breath back! There's no way I'd have been able to get up and run anywhere at the time. :what::floorlaugh:

JA is full of carp. :floorlaugh:

She uses "body slam" because in her mind it is way more dramatic than "he knocked me down". Just like "i got the wind knoked out of me" is an embellishment. The problem is on cross she had to back off those lies because the details made her fairy tale less believable rather than more believable as she had hoped.

There were six people " on vacation" in the last two days, but I know at least one who is back from vacation! so perhaps vacations are short, I know what you mean about Monday! I was on a five day vacation in the Casey Anthony trial at the worst possible time they could have given me one. :D
