A Maricopa County Superior Court judge set Sept. 8 for jury selection in the penalty phase of the Jodi Arias murder trial.

Judge Sherry Stephens also set an April 11 date for a sealed proceeding.

Heard on HLN today that the mitigation specialist was banned from the jail. Turns out she was smuggling out the convict's drawings. Used some excuse about keeping it for her files or something. Talking heads were assuming she's toast and that defence may be looking for another MS, and wondered whether this would delay the trial in September further.

And the circus from hell continues....

ETA: This validates our suspicions that MS was shady.

At the end of this article, someone said that Maria DeLaRosa was beyond reproach. Okay. That's one person opinion.

I will be clear. I watched the trial. I thought she was extremely unprofessional and she dressed like a hooker looking for a man on most days. If this is what you call beyond reproach, this defense team is in deep trouble.

I hope not!! for crying out loud they have 6 months til Sept.. get them off their Azzes. I think they are stalling to get Pros.. disgusted and take DP. off the table. Aint going to happen~~

The Alexander family must be grinding their teeth on the old truism, "Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied". Time is like a slow river washing over the prosecution case & sinking it further from view. I think that sept will be the date.. I won't tattoo it on my arm.. But I believe that will be the date.. I think that It is 18 months past verdict and it has to be done. I am sure that Juan is ready.
