..Lacy's term ends soon.No doubt she and John collaborated on this latest scam to 'find' something more.

JMO8778,
Looks that way, expect to see the Lounge Lizard on TV near to you soon.

Just when you find more intruder stuff, where is Lou Smit these days, the silence is deafening, has he consulted with J M Karr, last I heard he claimed all responsibility?

Was anyone elses dna discovered on the said waistband , how about the waistband on the size-12's, any dna found there?

Why have those questions not been answered in advance, releasing partial evidence proves nothing.

I think Burke was involved somehow: parents would protect a child at the expense of possibly going to prison for lying/covering up if ever caught. I don't think most parents would take that risk for another parent. That's my impression anyway.

As for FW, I don't think he was involved: if he was, then he would not have gone straight to where the body was (basement). To me, that's the most telling piece of evidence that he's not involved. If you kill someone and hide their body and want to remain "innocent", then you wouldn't go anywhere near it, IMHO.

I'm new to the board, but have been lurking awhile. Just finally glad to get to add my observations/thoughts...

belimom,
Of course Burke is involved since he knows if there really was a pineapple snack that night, if JonBenet walked into the house or was carried sleeping in, he will also likely know if one or both parents were up and about into the early hours that night, and if he heard Jonbenet scream etc etc. Burke knows, maybe one day he will unburden himself?

I think he knows, but I don't think he was involved. I think he was told to llie about her walking into the house and also the pineapple. But he is heard on the phone saying What did you Find? I don't think he had anything to do with it. I think it is Patsy.

I think it was Patsy

This was my theory for awhile, and I still haven't totally abandoned it. I think that Patsy would like for herself and for Burke, but not for John.

Oh, as for the peroxide smell in the bathroom? I think that perhaps Patsy pulled her hair back away from her face to perhaps bleach the roots of her hair before visiting relatives. P always claimed that JB's hair was bleached by the sun, but I don't think it's true.

Welcome belimom. It's not true. Patsy had JB's whole head dyed blonde. There are pictures of JB at age 4 as a natural brunette, and a darned cute one too!

Welcome aboard, belimom.

I also lean more towards Patsy protecting Burke than her husband. It makes more sense to me.

IIRC, Patsy claimed she colored her hair before the party at the Whites. Now I see why that even came up, I hadn't heard about the peroxide smell.

The peroxide smell needn't have only come from lightening JBR's hair. Most women's permanent hair dyes for home use contain peroxide, even brunette and dark shades. So the "peroxide smell" could legitimately have come from PR dying her own hair as she said.
The interesting thing with this case is that the main suspects (the Rs) have interspersed their lies with bits of the truth. Not everything they said about that night was a lie. PR probably DID dye her hair before the party.

I know it's an old saying,but that's the $118,000 question.LOL.
My guess is the 2 of them are having a pineapple fest. :)

The killer could be Burke Ramsey, whom Ramsey supporters insist was "cleared" (even though he wasn't, and wasn't even seriously investigated.)

imo...

You have a very good point....
what better reason for a "cover-up"?..
contaminate the entire house by bringing in all the neighbors and swear the son was in bed asleep the entire time...

my hubby swears he started having sex with his 13 yr. old sweetheart when he was a big, stocky, 11 yrs. old.....so who knows?....jmo

IF the neighbor heard a scream, I would bet, everyone in the R house heard it/ was awakened by the scream, also....I agree he knows what was said and done early that morning, and possibly enough to solve this sad case..imo

My 10 year old cousin got a girl PREGNANT, and he wasn't even big and stocky.

S. Thomas says in his book that Burke, when interviewed by Dan Schuller in 1998, stated that JonBenet had been awake when they got home and that she walked up the stairs.

Have the Ramseys ever been confronted in one of their interviews with that statement by Burke?
If not, I can't understand why.
For if what ST said is true, this would blow the Ramseys' story apart, In short, that statement by Burke is a bombshell, and if Kane, Levin & Co didn't make use of that bombshell to get the Ramseys into a corner, they have only got themselves to blame.

Does anyone know whether in other interwiews (before 1998), Burke also stated JonBenet was awake?
When was Burke first asked about this?

If they have, I know nothing about it.

Look at acandyrose-the National E. interview the R's did with the rag. They changed their story in that interview due to Burke's comments.

Yeah, about that morning, not the night before.

I am sure that the R defense lawyers prevented BR from ever being interviewed again- as far as I know, no one ever called the Rs out on BR's conflicting statement. Just another one of many balls dropped by LE when questioning them. LE dropped more balls than a one-armed basketball player.

I think this was talked about before, but someone must have mentioned or asked him about his knife being found nearby, seeing as he thought JB was slashed w a knife.

Is everyone else as sick as I am to hear television pundits, etc., say that the Ramsey's were exonerated? NOTHING has exonerated them. The DNA in the wasteband meant nothing due to it being possible that the dna was left by the manufacturer...but I heard something on one of the shows recently (defending my opinion fortunately) that referenced DNA of John Ramsey in a place on Jonbenet (or her clothing) that was very inappropriate...also, weren't the underware in question pulled from a new pack of underware in a drawer that didn't even fit Jonbenet? How on earth could the perpetrator (if not a Ramsey) accomplish so much inside that house and yet only leave sloughed off DNA cells on the wasteband of her underware?
