There is another thing that makes me believe it wasn't Burke.Jonbenet was Patsy's "product",her toy ,as harsh as it sounds.She wouldn't have done it for Burke,the over staging and everything else.She would have been VERY MAD at him.She would have blamed him for everything,their relationship would have changed drastically.No,I don't think that they covered up for him anymore.imo they were just protecting him because they were afraid he would say something about that night.

I agree. I do not believe that Burke, OR JAR was involved in this at all.

I posted this yesterday but somehow it got erased or flagged: Patsey Ramsey committed a ritual sacrificial murder--probably in consort with several other adults--in order to have her so-called "beauty" rejuvenated, and even though I can't prove it 100%, I can make a strong circumstantial case in which every single piece fits. Consequently it was premeditated and the b***h got what she deserved when her magick backfired and her cancer returned. (Think of the Old Testament story of Abram and Isaac and you'll get an idea of where Mrs. Ramsey's evil head was at.)

Wow. This is one of the most hateful and fantasy-filled posts I've ever had the misfortune of reading. A strong circumstantial case for what you just stated? You're joking, right? And if you can't prove it 100% maybe you shouldn't be saying it. Once again, I see people are posting pictures of their beautiful children. Why? SO's are at this moment are enjoying the photos. We are trying to figure out the murder of a child, and there for all the world to see, are photos of your own children. to be honest....it makes my heart sick.

That is true but if she confessed it leaves John open to prosecution possibly (accomplice) not to mention Burke - maybe she didn't want to leave him with the shame. Hopefully John will confess on HIS death bed!

She may not have been able to confess. When my mother was on her deathbed, she couldn't even speak.

I go through stages, I post them...and then think the way that you do, and take them down. Then I post them again...no posters on here know where my girls and I live. I do see your point though...and will probably take them down again.

Yeah, I should have done it a long time ago. My oldest daughter (17) asked me what I was thinking when I put that picture up (of my two youngest daughters) in the first place. I guess that I just got used to it being there, and forgot to remove it...even though I had intended to. I think that it is so awesome that the members here...are looking out for my kids! What a great bunch of posters we have here!!!

Anyway, just wanted to thank you all for the education, edification and entertainment over the years and to say that I think PDI or that PKWDI. When I first heard about the murder, I was living in London, miserable to have to go to work when everyone else was still on hols, and misunderstood the news report sufficiently to think that one of the little girls on 'Painted Babies' had been murdered. The child's mother in this programme had got on my last nerve and my first thought was that she had orchestrated some mad kidnap to get her child some attention. My shame at my quickness to suspend the presumption of innocence meant that, to this day, I want someone to prove that an IDI but I haven't seen a single piece of evidence to persuade me that my first reaction was wrong in anything other than detail.

Thank you for the welcome, Tadpole. Sorry for late reply: with exquisite timing, my broadband packed in more-or-less as soon as I posted!

With regard to the touch DNA, I have to admit to being far less au fait than everyone else on here but a couple of things really bother me about the whole issue:

1. I don't understand how anyone can be cleared on the basis of the DNA alone. I gather there are significant issues with the integrity of the samples and the comparative accuracy of this sort of testing so it seems a little premature to be clearing people on the basis of these samples. I'm not articulating this very well but was DA Lacy essentially saying that someone who ticked all the other evidential boxes would be exonerated on the basis of not ticking the DNA box? This, to me, is akin to a case over here where suspects in the serial killing of prostitutes were eliminated on the basis of their regional accent (leading to at least one avoidable death).

As I say, I am nowhere near as expert on this case or on DNA as the rest of you and I'd love to hear more informed views than my own.

2. If the DNA is that of the murderer, you have to marvel at the blamelessness of his life before and after the JonBenet murder that he hasn't shown up on any DNA database for another offence. This would seem to eliminate paedophiles and career criminals so the cast of people who could have done this crime is actually really small.

I imagine you are all thinking I'm an idiot. I'm anxious to learn, though!
