Wait, so JB asked for court to be delayed today until 1 pm and it was denied so all of a sudden he leaves court at lunch and he's sick? Not buying it.

No, have a look at the video. He asked for lunch to be extended to 1 pm (JP had said 12:45 pm) ... JP said it was fine, reconvene at 1pm - no denial

Don't know if anyone has posted it already, but there was a link to a wftv.com video http://www.wftv.com/video/27938803/index.html that someone said was right before the lunch recess. About the 11:25 mark you can see JB come to ICA and she mouths to him "do it" and then "I want it done." I watched a couple times and that seems to be the case. What do you think?

You could be right, although I thought it looked like she said, "I want it done now". Don't carry that to the bank because I'm not a lip reader.

I do know one thing, just before that, when she was talking to the woman, she was more serious that usual, not laughing, joking, or any of her usual inappropriate traits. Maybe the black outfit made her more serious, I don't know. Then after the woman left and the man walked up (was it JB?), her demeanor charged to even more serious and more forceful. Whatever it was, she's throwing around some weight. Maybe she reread one of GA's letters last night and she's now taking to heart his "you're in charge, they work for you" proclamations. :rocker:

Not in my opinion. I didn't get the impression the judge was pissed off. Seemed his normal self to me.

I don't think she was crying she did look like she was well aware of why jb was gone and she was ok with it I think he's filing a motion or maybe someone in his family is ill ( I believe he has a child).

I voted stall tactic. I can't believe anything coming from these people and I just cannot believe what they are putting Floridians through, especially the jurors. Simply unbelievable.

I personally don't know why they would want another jury - this one is as good as they're going to get. The set of facts they have to deal with are not amenable to any population of people, minority or otherwise, imo. I think "Baez" has the illusion of thinking he'll find people sympathetic to ICA, I don't think it's possible. He should stick with what he has - like he should have left Judge Strickland alone.

There's a lot of tension in such cases. Very rarely does that tension lead to the firing of attorneys. casey knows she has the best team she can get for what she wants to do and IMO, she'll grasp onto them for dear life.

ITA - also I would die of shock if Baez every willingly quit. Jump off his mega publicity bandwagon? No chance. I think he will hang onto ICA and be her "public voice" after the trial and she has gotten LWOP (which I think sadly is what she will get since I think she deserves the DP). The only way they will part company IMO is if ICA blames her situation on Baez and dumps him.

I see ICA looking very much in charge and bossy as usual. What do you expect, she is part of the defense team. Probably dreaming that she'll become a lawyer when she gets out!! I think ICA hates JP and will do anything at this point to stall the trial.

I respectfully disagree.ICA is not numb,she is cold,IMO.
Presumably she killed Caylee on June 16th ,(maybe 15th cuz GA has been known to lie).That evening she is seen ,on video,strolling through BB with TL,giggling and picking out horrific movies (IMO) That's COLD

So let's see when she fell apart for real.
When she was caught by YM lying about her office and job at Universal? NO

When she was arrested after being caught in that lie? NO

When she talked to her family from jail on the phone and her friend ,Christine ,fell apart at the thought of something happening to Caylee? NO

When she hears PJs say they think she is guilty? NO

When graphic discussion in court, of evidence discussing her precious childs decompositional fluids? Bones,hair? NO

Let's see,
When the body is found and she's screwed? Yes

When the Judge reads the allegations calling her a murderer,thwarting her image with those cute male jurors? Yes

I'm sorry, but I don't think anything would make ICA plea. She still thinks she's getting off. they are probably starting over with the jury selection or complaining about JP's way of getting a jury. I bet JB is filing a motion as we speak...

If JB is filing a motion, I think it would be with the appellate court that has jurisdiction over Orange County, and we'd be able to find that motion filed with that court today.

GA and CA want to make sure they never have to work again. sue, sue, sue. How can they Trademark "Justice for Caylee" maybe if it was Justice for Caylee Anthony". Caylee is a popular name. I don't see them winning this fight!! You would think that they would be happy that people want Justice for Caylee anyway!!

I get this weird feeling, from watching today, that miss ica has fired baez and asked mister mason to be lead counsel or asked that jb take a demotion.......orrrrrr.......she was peeved that jb did have pressing matters other than her. she did seem a little upset to me. dont know about the crying, but again noticed the lack of interaction between them both. But im leaning towards her letting jb go as they are no longer besties and she has used him for all hes worth. all imo. This may delay things a bit especially if she is going to go as far as accusing him of something unlawerly like. again all imo. Just do it, is all im gonna say.

I was waiting for someone to point that out.

Also, a Capital Murder trial trumps the above, and Federal or Supreme Court trumps everything fyi, even if JB "forgot" to continue it, a simple call would have this continued in a snap.
