If JP is sending/receiving mail, could the public send him some Depends? Or maybe Pampers? IMO a deluge of pictures of totes & weights could keep his memories alive. What a sick individual he really is.

Some times I think we need our own Devil's Island for convicted perps of these type horrendous crimes. One of those Alaskan Islands that run out from Southern Alaska towards Asia perhaps.

The way it sometimes seems, it would need to be a big one because there are quite a few perps I would vote to go there... On the other hand, they would all probably turn on each other so maybe that would take care of itself...

I am going to remain as nice as I can about the monster within JP.

I always thought the moon would be a great place. I just don't know if anyone would want to guard the waste. Then again, drones and robotics have come a long way. It would take a concerted effort.

Venting and discussing are how normal people do not kill these perps. imvho. and normal people (not that i am normal lol) never kill innocents. I agree venting is needed. Which is why I picture the Murphy bed too and added in a comfy pillow.

I figured it was a case that you had correct initials but I did not recognize. I don't know that case but do believe I have seen the name referenced.

Do not be sorry about the initials, I followed all except the CC, and only because not a case I am familiar with. And myself had trouble coming up with the perps I mentioned by initials in my response.

Could be because in my head I am designing a Murphy bed that does not function right to sell to prisons... lol.

Couldn’t agree more. Ray Laiotta in no escape is great movie.

I still say allow prisoners to be used for cancer research. We give cancer to animals and try cure them even though it doesn’t guarantee anything in regards to humans..

Do same to prisoners. If they go through treatment give em cable and perks. Win/ win.

I have not seen the movie. Not the biggest movie buff but may have to look for this one. The moon is a great idea but first, is it far enough away and second, it is the one thing I can see from down here, not sure that I want to see one perp chasing another around the big cheese with a moon rock... I still am trying to find the cow that jumped the moon though so maybe it would work If that does not give away a hint at age... lol.

I am not sure what all others go through but this was a week that it was necessary to vent some. imho anyhow. I do not know how people involved in such things as their job do it. Do they develop a thick skin? From necessity?

I am not a psych person, but I would have to say our PTSD levels, across so many of these occupations, have to be through the roof. I cannot imagine coming upon the crime scene at JC's home.

And then learning a thirteen (13) year old girl was missing. Sweet Mary & Joseph! (Mom's fav 'curse')

The SOB almost got away with it. Only JC saving herself made this miracle happen. No offense for any perceived cursing or blasphemy

I think this past week has been plenty of reason for PTSD even for those following and not involved in things or such occupations with several cases. I can't even imagine how it must be for those who are involved daily in same or for the families because I know it is showing with strangers who care and I know it has affected me. I also know it has been showing. I am on two days of staying away from one case because it angers me so much. I know when a break is needed. How do people who work around it or amongst it do it? I have no idea, and kudos to them.

March 27, 2019, 1 p.m. See a new entry or two regarding demand for discovery by defense a few days ago and an amended order re administration of case? If I had to guess amended order may have to do with the courthouse rules for security, media, seating, etc.? No idea. Demand for discovery no idea maybe an attorney could weigh in but makes me think there is not going to be a guilty plea and this is going to trial. Yet the court date is a month off so hard to say.

No he doesn’t have anything to lose but he could spare Jayme a lot of unnecessary grief by just pleading guilty - not looking for him to be decent enough to do that

I do not think so either. I think he will probably want his last "hurrah". As you say, he has nothing to lose... So why not... Sadly.

As this thread has become very slow it has given me the opportunity to reflect on the case from the beginning I thought about the first few days- what little Info we had to work with and how we all interpreted that information in different ways. Some were convinced from the beginning that Jayme was the target. I for one did not believe that to be the case. I was convinced that James and Denise were the targets and it was a revenge killing. I thought Jayme was either taken in case a hostage was needed or it was just an afterthought. I was also convinced there were 2 perps Boy was I wrong. Many speculated the neighbors didn’t hear gunshots- or at the very least their timeline was wrong. It appears to have been a mistaken time recalled by the neighbors

I always felt that Jayme was alive but no evidence to support my belief

The 911 call was a mystery to all. What was on that tape? No mystery conversation just the sound of a crazy person trying to break into a bathroom I do still wonder if you could hear JP telling Denise to hang up the phone

Based on what we know now it is amazing that this was solved, and most likely would never have happened if it wasn’t for the strength and courage of Jayme herself

One last thought- I always wonder if JP was on WS. I recall a few posts by a member that made the hair on my neck stand up. Then they just disappeared

If he pleads guilty there will still be several hearings. That we won't see the last of his face just yet.
