I can't bear to think of what actually was done in this case, it's unfathomable.

So instead I will ask, are there many groups against sex education in the States? I'm from the UK and sex education is definitely the norm and never been aware of anyone against it (was at school in the 90s).

Yes. The topic of birth control is used as a tool by any and every group who needs an agenda, especially those involved with politics and religion. There are groups that have a hissy fit over educating schoolgirls about menstruation, it's nuts here.

Kruckenberg-Anderson (16/now 20) arrested (1/10/21) & charged (1/12/21) with 1st degree intentional homicide & hiding a corpse. Will be charged as an adult. Plead not guilty. $1M Bond.
Trial was set to begin on 3/6/23 has been continued with no further dates. Judge ruled (4/16/23) Kruckenberg-Anderson will be tried as an adult.

4/16/23 Update: Charged with fatally shooting his newborn daughter in January will not have his case moved to juvenile court, a judge ruled Friday. After hearing from several witnesses, Judge Thomas Vale ruled that Kruckenberg-Anderson of Albany will continue with his case in adult court, denying a request from the teen's lawyers. Judge Vale decided that the defense did not meet its burden to prove that Kruckenberg-Anderson would not receive "adequate" treatment in the adult system, among other elements the defense needed to prove.
