Witnesses...Who do you think are the most credible witnesses?

Yuri Melich!!!

ITA! Yuri Melich will be one of the most credible!

I'd like to add Jesse Grund as not only credible, but because of the length of time he has known the Anthony family he's got insight into the interactions of the family. He also seems to have truly loved Caylee and had bonded with her.

Tim Miller will be very credible!

I also think that Cindy's brother, Rick Plesea, will be very honest and forthright in testifying about the family dynamics.

I'll be interested to hear Annie Downing, Jeff Hopkins (just to say he never had a son or knew ZFG), Yuri Melich, Mallory Parker...

I wonder if George Anthony will stand up and speak the truth as he did in the beginning?

Agreed! Amy's a strong witness. It was strange though....I think I read Dominic Casey discovered that her and Ricardo were drug addicts. I don't believe it although anything is possible. Was Dominic Casey every confirmed to be correct? I see many people were curious about what he had to say...I am too, but I don't know if he would make a great witness.

Keep in mind that DC was trying to get TES searchers to swear to things that were not true. imoo

Whose Tony P.?

Tony Padilla, WS member.

Yep....that's why I qualify him with, 'we'll know if he's lying'....but if he's not, and he divulges all, he could be a bad blow to the defense.

Is that what he was doing? I wonder what DC was doing for them. I read he believed Caylee was alive up until he heard from the psychic. Did he really believe that she was alive or he was just going along with it so he could pretend to investigate something.

I think he wanted to believe anything CA wanted him to believe, and I'll leave it at that.
If he heard KC telling JB where the body was, then he kept it to himself and rightfully could have if there was privilege at that time.

I hope no one calls DC to testify on anything, I can't imagine what he would have to say of any relevance to the case, he was just fielding all those tips that were coming in including those psychic tips. Then he got smeared as if the psychic tips were stories he'd made up, poor guy. That poor guy has been put through enough I imagine.

Who knows how any of these witnesses will seem when put on the stand, could seem really different from the transcripts and the short interviews we've heard. TL made odd comments in many of his taped interviews, like joking in that first interview on July 16 or 17, also claiming at first that Caylee had only been at his place one time. And his peculiar comments in the interview after the polygraph. His texts to Casey that were released from when they first started going out were odd too. He also had that weird thing in the interviews where he used the word "she" and "her" referring to guys, almost every time. I wonder how he will be on the stand.

I respectfully disagree. I think DC will be one of the most interesting witness'. I'm not sure about credibility but his testimony may influence two trials. AFAIK nobody knows what his testimony will be.

If he testifies that one of the A's or JB was on the phone with him while he was looking for the body it will undermine any defense JB puts up, IMO.

Also, it could lead to a trial against whoever was on the other end of the phone telling him where to look. They could be charged with obstruction of justice. It could end up like a row of dominoes falling down. If DC was talking to LA then they'll want to know who LA heard from. If LA heard from KC it might be because JB was smuggling in messages to and from KC. That wouldn't be good for LA or JB. It will be interesting to see if anyone is asked when they first learned the body was in the woods while on the stand. JMO

The forensics I think will be an excellent witness. In the past the whole "junk science" thing might have flown with some people but the popularity of shows like: CSI, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files and Cold Case have educated the public and made forensics interesting. I think people today are more apt to accept forensic evidence than they were twenty years ago. JMO

I think casey's best friend Juliette lewis will be the most crediable witness. She is the one casey told her that caylee was missing. Oh wait ..she is make beleive, nevermind then.

Can't wait for Dr. Vass. The man is brilliant. (and has the most endearing speech impediment) he will be able to get the information to the jurors in a way they can understand.

Yuri, to me, I see Yuri as Caylee's knight in shining armor. He will fight for justice and he will bring out all the ugly in the defendant. All her tricks and lies will be exposed by him.

ITA! Yuri Melich and Dr. Vass are two of the best!

I wouldn't trust an actress on the stand anyway. They can make you believe a lot of BS. JMO

I LOVE Dr. Vass, bjut I hope they do not get TOO involved in all of the scientific testimony and arguments because they will lose this jury if they do, imo.
I think the most important thing he can testify to is that he jumped back 2 feet when he first smelled the decomp odor in the trunk.
Even the dog can get them in too much of a fight over if the hits were credible or not.
I think they should offer the testimony then move on. There will be no argument over the 31 days and the tattoo. They can try and say she was PTSD or something, but I do not think the jury will believe that. There is too much communication between Casey and all of her friends about fun and upbeat stuff during that time. People suffering from acute PTSD do not message all of their friends to invite them to a club for body shots where they are the shot girl manager. imoo

I was reading some of that scientific testimony and I didn't have a clue.. Its too profound. They probably won't go that deep into though in the trial. Most of the jurors seem like a smart bunch but Dr. Vaas is way out there.

I agree that DC's testimony could be very interesting! Although we don't know what he'll testify to, the most important question to him is......who led him to search the woods and search within just feet of where Caylee's remains were eventually found.

I've always found it curious that JB wanted to find TES searchers who had searched the woods off of Suburban Drive, in an effort to find someone who said Caylee's remains weren't there when they searched, but JB failed to even acknowledge that a PI was searching those same woods. I think there's good reason why JB doesn't want to open that can of worms.

If we find out who DC was really on the phone with, how they knew the body was there, and what he was supposed to do if he found the body, it'll be the most interesting testimony of this trial. JMO

If anything, DC's will be interesting! He didn't make much sense when he spoke to LE in the transcripts, but I"m looking forward to hear him.

I think JP appeared to mention to Amy to pick up drugs from work didn't he, in one of the texts or emails that were released, the one where he was telling her to take out the trash because he forgot to etc. Didn't he say "could you get some stuff at work today". (?) But we didn't know for sure what he was referring to. (?)

Seagull! I don't see enough of you lately!!

And you know I always respect your opinion, you are very thoughtful-You also know most of the time we disagree and this is no exception-
I am not sure about the AH thing, never saw that, and as for TL, I am sure you will agree that any young person would be nervous and try to make themselves comfortable under those circumstances, including Tony, and including KC, when she conversed with Appie Wells. I noticed that he tried to be affable with LE, and I chalked it up to nervousness.

Now-as for DomC-How could he not have any bearing on this case? Let's start here-Is he any less credible than James Hoover? If so, why? If not...than let's cover what JH told LE in regards to DomC....that he told JH that they were going to find a dead Caylee in the woods on Suburban. Then, he picked up what was probably Caylee's flowered blanket. Then, he swore out a complaint against JB noting that JB instructed him not to divulge if he found Caylee's remains...Further, CA herself said that she instructed "someone" to go down to Suburban.

Let's put all of my questions above aside-As a private investigator looking into and fielding tips about Caylee, as a private investigator that went to the remains site, would he not EXPECT to be called to testify? In his professional capacity, I don't think he should find it odd or bothersome that the state, who he claimed to have been working with in the beginning by filtering tips to them, would call him as a witness. He's not a victim, he's a P.I. that worked on a high profile case without a binding contract with the defendant. He not only knew what he was getting into, he could stand to profit off of this case in the future-not saying that he will, but he is in a position to gain, not lose-if he is truthful.

I don't think everything he has to say has been released. One theory I have on that is it's because LE has the intention of putting some people on trial after this trial is over. IIRC, LE doesn't have to comply with sunshine laws until someone is charged. It doesn't benefit them to charge anyone with obstruction yet so they can hold that part back. JMO
