Witnesses...Who do you think are the most credible witnesses?

  • #41
I think Leonard Padilla will be one of the most intriguing ones, although I don't know if he'll be credible. I heard there was much controversy as to his main interests.
He isn't a witness. Only on the Nancy Grace Entertainment Show. :floorlaugh:

BBM

I believe this is going to be ICA's downfall. There really is no "reasonable" way to explain it.

MOO

I read somewhere the defense will explain her partying behavior after Caylee was gone, by using post traumatic stress syndrome....in regard to an accident happening. I don't get that though....why would she behave like that if she had post traumatic stress?

I would have to say TIM MILLER 100%!!!! I think Tim will be able to tell his side of the story and the jury will see how truly dysfunctional the Anthony's really are.

I also have to say Dr. Vass!!! I think he is so humble and lovable. He will be able to explain articulately every minute detail so the jury will understand him!!!

that's so funny Trap, I think just the opposite. Without going into details except to say that humble is the last word I would use in describing Dr Vass LOL! (I'm referring to his manner on the stand only of course, not to him as a person or anything.) He literally turned up his nose and pretended like it was beneath him to answer any questions for the defense, it was hilarious. He reminded me of that scientist in the movie "What's up Doc". Up til then I really liked him but when I saw how he completely changed and refused to answer the simplest most straightforward questions for the defense, I went, okay....... I was really surprised the judge didn't do something about it, tell him he had to answer the questions, because he went on and on avoiding answering. And when he was asked if the trash in the car could have created the air signature he said "but you have to take into account the circumstances of the case", LOL. Not in a scientific report, Dr. Vass! They told you a child was missing so you took that into account in your report? Yikes! MOO. I think he'll be OK if he appears to answer questions objectively/scientifically/impartially and without appearing to have an allegiance of some kind to the prosecution. MOO

I have PTSD and I didn't feel the need to kill my daughter or party for 31 days.

It makes me so mad when this is used as an excuse.

Can't wait for Dr. Vass. The man is brilliant. (and has the most endearing speech impediment) he will be able to get the information to the jurors in a way they can understand.

Yuri, to me, I see Yuri as Caylee's knight in shining armor. He will fight for justice and he will bring out all the ugly in the defendant. All her tricks and lies will be exposed by him.

I think angel Caylee, will be the most important witness.

if she had PTSD she could potentially kind of shut down mentally or become irrational if faced with a new trauma, maybe engage in automatic behaviors while mentally checking out, going into some kind of shock or denial, (or who knows, maybe even a different facet of her personality taking over, as in multiple personality. I don't know I'm only guessing.)

It sounded like they might say that she was abused as a child so when something terrible happened to Caylee or she realized Caylee was missing she was afraid to go to her parents or the authorities, didn't realize she could go to anyone for help, (or else just plain had some kind of breakdown and didn't know what she was doing). But I'm not sure

In my opinion, TL will be the most important to tell ICA's state of mind and actions during the 31 days. Also, I'm very curious to hear what Dom C has to say.

I think you are right, I would only add Yuri, the folks at Universal, Dr. G and Annie....

I think any witness that knew what ICA was up to just prior to Caylee going "missing" and when she was found by CA.

Our BEST witnesses for the state, were the A's the first few days they knew Caylee was missing and they wanted to find her, back when they were upset with ICA.... sadly those folks have long since done a 180 since those taped interviews.

The most credible witnesses are the members of LE that dealt with Casey during the course of this case. The dog handlers. Dr Vass.

Obviously the least credible is anyone with the last name Anthony.

I really like Yuri as well....I noticed in some pretrial hearings when JB asked him questions implying that he did something wrong, he always stayed professional.

I think the most credible witnesses are the dogs and the various experts who will explain the death hair, decomp, time of death, etc. The employer proving that George was at work and last one besides the accused to see Caylee will be credible. All the rest is either on cell phone, computer, pics, and the actual behavior of the accused, so technology is a very good witness. Casey is also a most credible witness for the defense in a way since she used all the technology and left a record. All the rest of the people are just extras to prove and verify the abscence of Caylee, thefts, and lies IMO. They're all extremely credible because there are pics and other friends and people to back up what they say. In other words, every single thing or witness is very credible. I can't think of one thing that wouldn't be, except for a few of the gossip mongers who took up the airwaves with opinions. Hopefully, that won't be allowed during the trial. The family might not be very credible except to verify a few truthful facts. They're just too defensive, emotional and worried about Casey to be very credible.

He is not on the states witness list. We had threads about why and many thought good ol' Leonard was self serving. Which I do as well. Rumor had it Leonard and JB were buddies and talked a lot with each other. Rob also said this on some threads when he was posting here.

Detective Yuri Melich and Dr. Jan Garavaglia.

The prosecution didn't want him either?

Leonard Padilla would be an awful witness!! There is nothing that could have been gained by having LP as a witness for either side. He is not credible. He overexaggerates and he makes things up. MOO

If he tells the truth, and we'll know when the pieces fit properly, DomC ought to be very interesting and his testimony very telling. Dear God, I hope he's not a dud.

Shirley Plesea! I didn't think of her. She would be great....honest despite her family.
