The thing that strikes me as interesting, is that Inmate Anthony tells fellow Inmate Robyn that "Baez asked him to give a sample of his DNA" .... not that they asked Jesse to take another paternity test under strict, controlled procedures ... but they asked for a "DNA sample". What did they plan to do with a "DNA sample" which was provided outside of a paternity testing center? Jesse would have been really stupid to hand over a "DNA sample" for them to use in whatever way they wanted to!

I suspect that the request for Jesse's "DNA sample" was devised after the shower scheme (July 1, 2008) failed to get Jesse in the shower with her, to deposit a "DNA sample".

Wow. When you put all these things together, the "Lee goes to Georgia to get Jesse's DNA" story starts to seem plausible.

Good point that they would not need a "DNA sample" from Jesse to get a paternity test done. They could have just asked him to show up for another paternity test under strict supervision by a defense team member. Handing out your DNA before the body is found to people who have fingered you as the perp would be pretty stupid. ;)

I'm getting stuck on the idea that Baez personally requested Jesse volunteer a DNA sample. Is the only evidence we have of that KC's claim in her letter? heh, I know JB does some crazy stuff, but that is such a long shot, it hardly seems plausible to me. Why on earth would he even begin to think Jesse would oblige such a crazy request?

The rest of it makes sense to me though re. Lee paying Jesse a visit in GA. I find that very plausible considering the dates, emails, etc all in sync.

I have always been highly suspect of the shower incident. However, I get stuck there too. Do we really believe that Casey thought of this all on her own and devised a plan? Was she going to willingly go back to the dump site, untie the trash bags, retrieve Caylee's body and plant Jesse's DNA?

I think I am missing something....:waitasec:

just a thought ... if the DNA was to be "planted" on Caylee's SHORTS (not on Caylee's little decomposing body) ... and IF the shorts were placed at the scene at a later day than the body was placed there .... and now Caylee's shorts are being tested for DNA ......

I believe that Dominic independently saying to someone outside the inner circle, that Jesse's DNA parentage test was "inconclusive" is corrobative of what the Inmate was saying, along the same lines, and gives credence to the idea that the attorney wanted Jesse's DNA.

Now this brings up another question that has been floating around. When did KC actually have first contact with JB? If KC was looking to blame JG in July that would explain the phone calls to him and maybe even the one which he stated he heard KC tell Caylee to get off the table in late June. If KC did contact JB in June was he obligated to turn her in at that time or did he accept her as a client at that point? If we were to put everything together (including JB's statement under oath that he was hired by KC on June 21st and has never been publicly corrected as a mistake on his part), DC poking around for a body in the area the body was found, just everything together, it does not look good at all. Why would someone do such a thing and risk their license to practice? Perhaps the story of a lifetime for sale. jmo

That is what I meant! In my previous post where I questioned KC and the shower incident. I shouldn't say anymore... That is just too crazy.

Maybe it wouldn't have been necessary to open the bags. Maybe they got the DNA from Jesse, deposited it on the shorts, and dumped the shorts at the scene. As long as we're speculating and all....

What is all the discussion about Lee going to Georgia? I don't recall seeing that in the news anywhere ever, is that rumor? Where'd that come from?

Yes it is curious.....rumor mentioned here http://www.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.net/125702

'The chain of command seems to be PI Jim Hoover, to PI Dominic Casey, to Jose Baez. The target was to obtain the fingerprints and DNA of Jessie Grund. The first attempt involved Casey Anthony, but that failed, the second attempt involved Lee Anthony, who traveled to Atlanta to meet with Jessie Grund.'

and...

'Update: I have to point out that it was not Richard Grund that started the DNA witch hunt. He and his family are victims. My information came from a third party. Richard Grund is not denying the information, merely that he was not the person that leaked them. Nor does he have first person evidence.'

Do we really think that Casey told Baez where Caylee was? That he involved Lee and DC in some elaborated DNA scheme to drop some of Jessie's sample at the body? Seems to me this theory started with Richard Grund who floated the first suspicion in his police interview when he mentioned Casey visiting Jessie to take a shower.

Did Lee even visit Jessie in Georgia for this reason? What do we know about this visit, and what....a sample was supposed to be collected by Lee?? Is that what they are saying? 'Hey dude, mind if I just borrow some of your DNA?' Seems flimsy as and conspiratorial in nature to me.

You know I would not put much past Cindy, but Lee .. that is a different story. He does not give off a save Casey by any means possible vibe to me, I think unless there is something a little more solid this rumor is very unfair on him.

Interesting that in P.I. Dominic's emails to Luke, Dom said the same thing about an allegedly "inconclusive DNA test" (which is the same thing that Inmate Anthony wrote about in her jail letter). Dominic's email is dated Aug 7, 2008. (photo # 1 attached)

In an October 21, 2008 email - Dominic tells Luke that Jesse made an "immediate exit to Georgia following Casey's arrest" (because Jesse knew that Caylee had mysteriously disappeared). (photo # 2 attached) Note that this email from Dominic has the SAME DATE as the jail letter from Inmate Anthony to Robyn - October 21, 2008.

In an August 29, 2008 email - Dominic tells Luke that he "still believe Jesse by and family are the ones". (photo # 3 attached)
They're all a bunch of dodos, if you ask me. DC floated every theory posted on the web.

I'm not much help 'cause all that came out when I was in the middle of exams. The first heard of it was the day the Grunds were deposed (maybe 10 days ago?).

I don't think there is absolute proof of it....yet. There might be sworn testimony when we get to read the depos, but no proof that I know of right now. However, it is pretty widespread now and neither the Grunds or the Anthonys have issued any denials.

I wish I could link you to the correct thread, but I don't have the first clue where I read it.

eta: Thank you Ms. G for posting the link.

Thank you for your insight!
In my opinion there was NOTHING "inconclusive" about the DNA test that Jesse had done (as Dominic and Inmate Anthony tried to suggest). And, I do not even think that was the "real" reason they wanted a DNA sample from Jesse either. That was simply the cover story. IMO
...and that's the scariest part of what these folks were doing way back when. What extent would they go to?

Now I really, really want to see the depo transcripts!

Now I really, really want to see the depo transcripts!

They were Defense depositions though, and if the Defense does not order a transcript of the deposition, then it will not be transcribed, and not released in Discovery.... I think the Defense has many reasons NOT to order a transcript ....

But...there's been so much speculation regarding this case...is it any wonder that the Grunds would be just a tad paranoid?

Not at all. In fact, it looks like their fears could be well-founded.

I agree ... it is just interesting that the topics of Jesse's DNA and Jesse going to Georgia and Jesse being a strong person of interest were being discussed among the defense inner circle ....

IF ... IF .... IF .... it is proven or confirmed that Lee did go to Georgia to see Jesse ... that is very suspect in my mind. What non-suspicious reason would Lee have to go all the way to Georgia to see Jesse? He could just talk to him on the phone. We have to wait and see if the trip to Georgia is confirmed .....

That made me laugh...DC part of anyone's inner circle...what a desperate bunch they are.

But then there is that quote, I believe from LE that "Lee knows what he has done." Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?????

Even scarier is the fact these people are walking among us and professing to have "professional" employment and waiting (begging) for work to come to them. Especially DC. Think about this: the normal person in Florida is probably not following this case as much as we are. They look on the internet or where ever looking for a PI and up pops DC's name and his fancy-dancy website. That person(s) has/have not one iota of a clue as to lack of sanity DC has.

By the by, anyone -- does DC still have a PI license????

Back on topic: The fact of this carp with Jesse's DNA, JB and the A's kinda/sorta is pointing my theories towards the A's storyboarding started long before July 15, 08. And they knew definitely where Caylee was put and by whom. And I don't discount Lee in any manner, shape or form not being involved. He is so dang deep in it; he is the only one smart enough to keep his mouth shut to the public. I think he is the only one who realized the damage he did early on playing dick tracy's sidekick. He won't drop on his sword though to save ICA, CA or GA.

And his attorney requested immunity for him. IIRC, the only Anthony to do so.

I don't recall the scope of the immunity request though...
