*snipped*The thing that strikes me as interesting, is that Inmate Anthony tells fellow Inmate Robyn that "Baez asked him to give a sample of his DNA" .... not that they asked Jesse to take another paternity test under strict, controlled procedures ... but they asked for a "DNA sample". What did they plan to do with a "DNA sample" which was provided outside of a paternity testing center? Jesse would have been really stupid to hand over a "DNA sample" for them to use in whatever way they wanted to!
I suspect that the request for Jesse's "DNA sample" was devised after the shower scheme (July 1, 2008) failed to get Jesse in the shower with her, to deposit a "DNA sample".
Wow. When you put all these things together, the "Lee goes to Georgia to get Jesse's DNA" story starts to seem plausible.
Good point that they would not need a "DNA sample" from Jesse to get a paternity test done. They could have just asked him to show up for another paternity test under strict supervision by a defense team member. Handing out your DNA before the body is found to people who have fingered you as the perp would be pretty stupid.![]()

I'm getting stuck on the idea that Baez personally requested Jesse volunteer a DNA sample. Is the only evidence we have of that KC's claim in her letter? heh, I know JB does some crazy stuff, but that is such a long shot, it hardly seems plausible to me. Why on earth would he even begin to think Jesse would oblige such a crazy request?
The rest of it makes sense to me though re. Lee paying Jesse a visit in GA. I find that very plausible considering the dates, emails, etc all in sync.
I have always been highly suspect of the shower incident. However, I get stuck there too. Do we really believe that Casey thought of this all on her own and devised a plan? Was she going to willingly go back to the dump site, untie the trash bags, retrieve Caylee's body and plant Jesse's DNA?
I think I am missing something....:waitasec:
