Well, I had it easy, and am back at work with a modified schedule.

Mr. Laughing has pneumonia & is in the hospital, where we all know I can't even visit even though I had the virus last month.

Sigh.

Sorry to hear this. Hope you are both well and at home together soon.

@Laughing make sure to take good care of yourself. Hopefully Mr. L will be home soon. He is going to need a lot of TLC, so, do get some rest now.

Thank you all. I'm home today, couldn't concentrate at work.

Already took the living room couch apart & used the Dirt Devil on it. Looks good in there!

Walk in the woods & a nap planned after checking in here.

Y'all are the best!

Take care of yourself @ Laughing, you definitely deserve some "me" time

My 3 yr old GD, who was exposed to COVID about 10 days ago had a negative test result today. Only problem I have with that is that it was a Rapid test and she had no symptoms, so to me it's useless. The family is quarantined for 14 days from time she was last at preschool, which I believe will be this Friday. All appear to be ok at this point.

For the third time, my daughters family is quarantined. First time it was a direct contact at preschool. Last two were my son in law, on the job site. He is a civil engineer in the field most days. They wear masks ( mostly) but are so close to one another at times. This time he was working face to face with a masked coworker who is ill and tested positive. Fingers crossed once again, kids out of daycare and SIL working from home. Of course we have not seen them in months and this is why. My poor grand baby Willa will be a toddler by the time she gets to know us. Not to mention that I am worried for their health.

So sad, I foresee several quarantines in my family's future. DD and SIL both teachers, working virtually at present, 8 yr old in virtual school - 3 yr old normal energetic curious little drama queen - they had no choice but to put her back into preschool. These 2 weeks on quarantine have been challenging, to say the least. No job contingencies in place for their county when they have to be in quarantine and have preschoolers at home. 6 1/2 hrs from me, so I'm useless, plus I still work full time.

From your typing fingers to God's ears, all, Mr. Laughing is on that freshly vacuumed couch! Now, to keep him home this time.

And, colleagues from my office showed up at noon with pizza & salad, we ate on the deck. The patio table is not quite 6" across, but close. I have really terrific colleagues!

My niece who is a 1st grade teacher tested positive this morning. She said she has had a really rough day. Masks in our state encouraged but not mandatory. I just can’t wrap my arms around that.

My husband, two sons and myself have been sick since Friday with a bad cough (especially me - weak lungs) headaches and miserable upper congestion. Feeling miserable but no fever. None of us have left the house or allowed anyone in since. My oldest son just left the house for a drive thru test. If he tests positive, I’ll go test too cause I figure we all have it. I actually came down with the cough first which is strange cause I’m almost agoraphobic and never leave the house unless it’s absolutely necessary. I’ve got my fingers crossed. I sure do wanna see my granddaughters but no way am I letting them come near this house.

Oh no. I’m so sorry. I hadn’t realized. I’m ashamed of myself for not keeping up here. Little Willa must be so cute! ❤️

Sorry to hear you and your family are ill. Keep us posted! In the meantime, I'm praying you all will recover quickly from whatever this is.

Goodness! Positive thoughts for you and your family. Hopefully it’s a mild cold!
As for Willa, she is lovely. We visit from afar but someday we will make up for last time. Take care!!

My son just called. He’s still waiting in his car ever since I first posted this morning. My county has the most cases in the state. For our small county, we have almost 11,000 cases. Hoping for just our luck for severe colds but I’m worried. My son works for the Choctaw Nation tribal casinos. He is tested once a month so...

Thoughts with you, hoping it is only a cold. Please keep us posted.
