Yes, on steroids. Good to know.

Nice little side effect that medical people seem to forget about telling folks. Especially strong ones, your vision may be blurry for a few weeks.

Oh, no! I did not know that. Yikes.....well, guess I will take that side effect over what was the outcome to COVID for so many others. :(

This fatigue isn't something else. I finally did some vacuuming, totally out of breath and ready to lie down again. Those of you that caught this, what did you experience.....and suggestions?

I feel dumb sounding like I am complaining, because my family is still living. But this certainly is not like anything we have experienced before.

@HongKongPhooey has had fatigue, iirc.
Please do not feel like you are complaining.

Best to you and your family, hang in there. Hugs.

Yes, complain on Seenit! I do :D

The only thing I could compare it to was the early weeks of pregnancy (which is going back a good while for me, 24 years or so). But that tiredness where you really struggle to move from the sofa. Or a proper dose of flu, that knocks you for six.

The difference with Covid is you also have the anxiety of getting breathless.

I stayed on my bed for a solid week with my family delivering food and drink at my door. It really does knock you out. Unfortunately I do still have some days where I kind of relapse to that sofa-tired, but they are getting less.

Leave the housework is my advice and just rest as much as you can. It will pass, just takes a little time xX

So much to look forward to.

Here is a video of a man who had Covid, and still having problems.

So my husband works in the kitchen at University and a privately owned eatery on campus. The rules this year for all staff and students they must get Covid testing 2 to 3 times a week depending on which days they go it could be two days it could be three days it usually takes a day for his test results to come back last week he tested and Friday which was Halloween weekend his results came back negative. Monday he was going to test again but there were Highwinds in New England and the testing center was closed down because it’s outdoors. he wasn’t having any symptoms except for like a runny nose which is allergies because we both have really bad allergies. Tuesday he went and tested At 9:45 PM on Wednesday one of the campus nurses Called
to inform him that his test came back positive now I’m freaking out because it’s late at night I don’t have any resources I can tap in to except a call my parents to let them know that he did test positive and I had seen them over the weekend we have a nurse on the phone since I was in contact with my family over the weekend what was their risk She told me since I kept distance and that my husband wasn’t around them there was a super low risk for them. ThursdayI did a video chat with my doctor told him what was going on and he sent me for a Covid test now he wanted me to get the four day test because it’s more accurate and because I’m a diabetic and I have other medical conditions he wanted to make sure that it was accurate. I went to the testing center and I had to wait about an hour and a half just to get my test they don’t swab all the way up the nose anymore where we are It was painless my results to come in within 4 days i had my test done around 130 I’m not sure if
The time matters when you get the test but I am super on edge about everything we don’t have any kids and we live in a small 650 square- apartment And Wednesday night we decided that I should take the living room and husband would stay in the bedroom Thursday we decided maybe we should cook our own meals he would come into the kitchen I would be far apart in the living room he would eat Clean up fast use disposable plates and then go back to his room but after talking to my mother she suggested he stay in his room and then I cook the meals and leave them in the hallway for him seems to be working. the only symptoms I’m having is a runny nose Jell-O legs feeling because I suffer From medical and travel anxiety and me and my therapist thought that it was anxiety induced the jelly legs because whenever something bad is going on with somebody and It has to do with medical emergencies I start to shut down going to a severe panic and anxiety induced and sometimes it takes months for it to go away.
I’m also having some stomach pain but that’s because I had some heavy cream I had to whip up before it went bad and I decided to eat a cup full of it with some dark chocolate and it caused an upset my stomach so now I’m not sure if it was the dairy or if I have Covid my husband symptoms are very mild and he’s not having any major symptoms which is good good.

I’m sorry for this long post. I’m going stir crazy there are times when I’m breaking down and crying. Friends and family I’ve been checking in but it’s just not enough.

I I called work as soon as I knew which was Thursday morning when the store was open I want my boss to know what was going on and that my husband was routinely getting tested for work because I didn’t want them to think that I possibly went to work knowing my husband were getting a Covid test just to cover myself and to clarify it was a normal thing . I work for a really great company and they have been really good to all of us employees during this pandemic. once I get my results and call them in to one of
The managers I am right now paid
For 14 days should
My results
Test positive I can stay out longer with pay.

I needed to hear that. Thank you. I am getting so stressed as to "how behind" I am with everything. I was hoping by this week I would be up and running....but at this point, I don't see that happening.

Thank you. It means a lot to feel like I have people rooting for us.
Joking aside about complaining, I have shared lots of info just in case it might help someone else. We're here for you Seenit xX

How are you feeling today, and how is everyone, especially your youngest?

I had to have a COVID antibody test for work this week. The company requires it for all employees.

I got the results, negative!

I have got to remember to check my Kroger stores for antibody tests.

It is getting easier and less expensive to get antibody testing. Quest labs will add an antibody test to a blood draw for $10, for example.

My eldest is nearly normal. My youngest is doing okay, but extremely tired. I a man not doing a show well as I had hoped. The nurse called this morning and asked about my current symptoms, and I am not well enough to be removed from "isolation". Guess I am not surprised, because I literally cannot think or see straight...there is no way I could function normally yet.

I'm sorry you are not doing very well and hope you will feel better soon. I need to look back at your earlier posts because I'm not really up on your situation and what you are doing to treat your symptoms.
