Three year-old Aliayah Lunsford went missing from her Bendale home Saturday morning. She has not been seen since? We will explore this mystery in depth tonight on the Nancy Grace Show.

Good luck exploring it in depth with so little info...

I think what is bothering me the most (besides this angel being missing) is the lack of media. And what little media coverage we are getting is so cold and impersonal. 3 yr old girl missing...last seen at home...divers looking in water.
Why is no one on the news pleading for her return? Pleading for the community to go out and find her before it's too late?Telling us stories about her? Her favorite cartoon....favorite ice cream flavor. something, anything. This little girl has a personality and I want to hear about it!

Mark Klaas and Nancy Grace will be covering this tonight on NG.

Thanks Marc and Nancy for picking this up!

It would be helpful to know about the men in this child's life.

I hate to say this....but if there is no family willing to be interviewed tonight on Nancy Grace than that should tell us something is seriously wrong. I guess we'll find out in a few hours.

The timestamp on the Doritos photo is April 24, 2010

Wow that's 8 months prior to the Christmas tree piccie. I just know she doesn't look like that now -- a year later.

Why so few pics? We know mommy has internet, so if she can afford that and a computer, why no camera? Most cell phones have cameras, and we often use our camcorder as a camera as well. I don't know if she has a cell phone - merely speculating. In our house we share one (no need for 3 KWIM)?

Just saying -- I would hope for more pics of this beautiful child.

Not so sure, if she ever watched it or any family did, they may want to stay away. I would!

How do we know she has a computer/internet connection? I know she has a Facebook page, but that's inconclusive- she might have had it for a few years and no longer has a home computer and/or she accesses it from the library or something. The time stamp may or may not be accurate, as I think Aliayah look older in that photo than the Christmas photo, and certainly doesn't look 21 months. Edit: Scratch the last part, looking at it again my memory of proportions was way off.

All that said and acknowledging the potential issues (digital cameras are useless without a computer and can be an unnecessary expense if you are broke, my cell phone pictures are so low quality that they don't look my kids the few times I've pulled it out), I do wish there were more and better pictures of this sweet little girl.

Nancy's dancing, so Marc is doing the interview. I'm not a huge Nancy fan so I don't think I've ever watched when Marc was the actual host. Is he any different than Nancy? I do know he is a big supporter of the parents and doesn't assume they had anything to do with their child missing. I remember him defending Billie Dunn every chance he got.

Nancy has her faults but if my daughter was missing, I'd do anything to get her name and picture out there. Especially on the national level!!! I think only GUILTY people would be afraid of being on NG

Does the mom have a car?

Marc always wants LD tests done, that is for sure. But then he and NG both jump straight to random RSO's, which as we know is the least likely in these cases. But it is a ratings-grabber...

Especially when it seems like the local media isn't going out of their way to get the story out.

5 NEWS UPDATE: Community Comes Together to Look for Missing Girl

It seems as though Aliayah disappeared into thin air Saturday. Dogs can't track her scent and Police don't have any clues as to where she could be, but that hasn't stopped the community from coming out to look for the girl.

Ok....now I'm confused.... I thought they were searching the river because the dogs tracked her scent there

Having internet access doesn't necessarily mean someone owns a computer. She could be using internet at a friend or family members home or even a library.

Some people on shoe string budgets don't necessarily have the option to have some of todays 'luxuries' which many take for granted. It may be she relies on photo's from family gatherings or social gatherings as was mentioned upthread.

A newer picture would be better, but not having one would not necessarily make her unrecognizable to someone who has never met her.
My best guess is an older photo might generate more false sightings due to being off on the age. Someone might call in a younger child closer to the age Aliyah was in the photo's made public, or if they are trying to age adjust for time since the last photo they might mistake an older child.

I only posted 2 missing kids on my blog before I decided to move it to it's own domain and server. I just got to update that Randall was found safe, please let this angel be another of the lucky ones.

I can't imagine mom doesn't have a cell phone and most cell phones have cameras. Any mom with a cell phone can tell you, they take lots of pics of their kids with their phone.

Not to mention grandmothers, aunts, cousins, neighbors, friends etc...
This little girl is adorable. How could she walk by anyone and not have her picture snapped? She's too dang cute

I don't have a cell phone.

I only got one this summer, because we moved and were without a landline for a few weeks and I needed to be contactable during that time. It's rarely charged, and when it is I don't use it for pictures. The few times I've tried, the quality was so poor it didn't even look like my kids.
