Is there another picture of this child? Perhaps one with a smile?

This case reminds me of Breeann Rodriguez's case.

I hope they find this little one soon.

Some folks mentioned they saw a Christmas tree in the background, which makes me wonder if it was a "Santa lap" picture. Sometimes kids cry in those pictures...even well-adjusted and great kids.

MOO and other disclaimers.

There is one of her with her hair in pigtails on her FB page. Really cute!

I had a bad feeling about this from the start. Anyone ever find out if there is a "daddy" around for all these children not that that has to do with anything?

there is a pic somewhere of her running with a bag of doritos she looks happy in that pic.. but she's moving so it's not a good face shot

I agree with you....there's lots of pictures of unhappy kids with Santa.
But there is usually other pictures somewhere showing a smiling child. And according to posts on the Find Aliayah page, no one seems to have any other photos of this little girl. They are begging for photos there to put on missing posters and no one can find any. Not even a cell phone photo.

Has it been reported when the last sighting of Aliayah was by someone other than her family?

she also looked younger to me in that photo. And kids at that age change so fast in their appearance. It's like they change from babies to kids overnight.

Posted earlier in this thread: here. The Facebook page has another shot of her as well, in a pink top, but it cuts off part of her face.

Edit- looks like the pink top might have been taken the same day as the Doritos picture (top looks similar, same hairstyle), which suggests (to me) the family might not have a camera and so the only pictures of her are from family gatherings or similar.

I think what is bothering me the most (besides this angel being missing) is the lack of media. And what little media coverage we are getting is so cold and impersonal. 3 yr old girl missing...last seen at home...divers looking in water.
Why is no one on the news pleading for her return? Pleading for the community to go out and find her before it's too late?Telling us stories about her? Her favorite cartoon....favorite ice cream flavor. something, anything. This little girl has a personality and I want to hear about it!

It appears not to be a santa piccie (see attachment).

Here is another piccie of her - looking equally unhappy.

I remembered the Doritos picture (which is why I linked back to the earliest post of it I could find with a very quick search- yours), but wasn't sure if the other one was one I had seen here or on the Facebook page and figured it was better to go with the place I knew it to be rather than the place it might have been. :) Typing one handed, so post searching is a bit awkward.

The timestamp on the Doritos photo is April 24, 2010

Three year-old Aliayah Lunsford went missing from her Bendale home Saturday morning. She has not been seen since? We will explore this mystery in depth tonight on the Nancy Grace Show.
