For lil Aliayah...who's eyes touch hearts...that pray for justice.
Merry Christmas.

Thinking about Aliayah on Christmas Day, when the pictures that we are by now so sadly familiar with were taken. I would love to remember this as the day when the mystery of this beautiful little girl's disappearance is finally solved. God bless Aliayah, and also her siblings.

This case haunts me like no other. It seems obvious who is guilty and it is just as obvious that she/they are not geniuses by any stretch of the imagination so why is this baby still among the missing? Her and little Lisa should not be waiting a year later for a proper burial.

A human skull has been found along Route 2 in Cabell County.

Sheriff Tom McComas tells WSAZ.com a hunter found the skull about 3:30 p.m. between Route 2 and the Ohio River near the Greenbottom area of Cabell County.

Deputies are searching the area for more evidence and remains at this time.

We have a crew at the scene.

The hunter at first described the skull as looking like a "baby doll." -This would be about 3 hours away from Weston.

This is so odd. I was just sat chatting with my hubbie and suddenly had an odd feeling to check on Aliayah.
Since 10.45pm (45mins ago UK time) Ive been clicking back pages and pages to find this thread - when I finally deicided I should just search for it I find it back on the front page with these updates.
Ive not posted much but have kept her in my thoughts, espcially this chirstmas as my own daughter is now 3
I hope that finally little Aliayah will be brought home and that something might be found to let justice be served.

I have been thinking alot about Aliayah since the first of the year. It is heartbreaking that she has never been found. She remains in my prayers...

He took it HOME?! Obviously, not the brightest hunter in the woods!!

I'm really, really thankful that he did contact LE but why the heck would you bag up a human skull and take it home? What is the thought process there?

One if the articles said they thought the skull washed ashore from the river. Does this make it more or less likely to be our little angel?

I am thankful that he contacted LE-but it would have been nice if he had left the skull untouched. I don't know what he was thinking?!!!! I don't know how he could even remember exactly WHERE he found it?

IF it washed up from the Ohio River, it is probably not our girl. I just have a very sad feeling....that this is our girl.

K-9 units from both Lumberport and the South Charleston State Police Detachment combed the area for any sign of the 3-year-old, and police say one dog lead them down the street and near the banks of the West Fork River.

Is the west fork river the same river he is referring to? Sounds like the family lives just down the street.

The West Fork River if IRC runs right behind their home. And if I am reading the map right-the West Fork does flow into the Ohio River (ugh)...

maybe he didn't realise it was human at first?

looking at a map I don't think it would be possible to travel from Weston to the Lesage area in the river, but could "whoever" have dumped a body further upstream from Lesage?

I see that LE think that the skull may have been washed ashore from the Ohio River.

www.wchstv.com/newsroom/eyewitness/130104_12887
"Law enforcement officers are searching the area to see if they can locate any additional remains. They believe the skull may have washed ashore from the river.
