I agree with you that's why I think this arrest is not just a sting or random. She may be working w/her lawyer to get her kids back and this pretty much puts that out of her reach. I think we see more action soon....for some reason I really believe Aliayah will get justice....

I truly hope that this woman never gets the children back, ever and that includes the unborn ones as well. I also hope that she never reproduces again. I have stated many times on WS that some people should never be able to procreate and this woman just reinforces my belief.

I hope she has had those babies. I'm going to guess that she probably has, or they would have waited to charge her with this. This charge wouldn't be worth putting those babies at risk.

I have the feeling that these babies have been at risk since before they were conceived.

Wow, her body language at seeing the cameras was odd. I can't find the right word for it. Almost like she was contemplating whether to be confrontational or not? Certainly annoyed by the cameras.

I just wish we knew were Aliyah was..... this is probably wishful thinking, but perhaps LE was sending a message not only to LL, but also to others in the narrow circle who are in the know.... almost full term with twins is not stopping us from doing whatever we need to do to find this child. Perhaps bigger surprises are in the works for others.... LL seems to know some pretty hard core criminals, imo.

Just praying this little one is found.

I also wonder if she was there in court by herself. Any family members go to support her? Her husband? I'm just full of questions & frustration. Somebody has to know something and that person needs to speak up for Aliayah!

TY It seemed longer than that. So she would've gotten October benefits for the 5 children. Around $1,000. My cousin has 5 children and she gets over that!

Ain't that the truth, Ms. Detective?!? I had the exact same thoughts when I saw tlcox's post stating it'd only been 2 weeks ago?!? Seems like that's been so long ago that they were taken and just makes me realize that little Aliayah has already been gone for way too long..
I pray to God that someone with a kind and compassionate heart saw this precious little, pain filled face of this cherub and rescued her from her home and homelife.. I know the chances are realistically slim to none of this being reality but I'll cling to it until I know otherwise.

I thought it looked like she turned, looked for a minute and realized someone was filming her. Then tried to hot foot it up the stairs and out of the limelight.

When going up the stairs, I saw a sign that said post office? Are the post office and the courthouse right next to each other?

I think it is. The federal courthouse is different than the county courthouse. If I remember right, the social security office is also in that building. I'll have to check to be sure.

Finally got caught up.....
First, looking at the video of Lena I never would have known it was her. She looked totally different than her mugshot.
When I saw she got arrested for welfare fraud, my heart sank. Please don't let this be another Haleigh Cummings case. Mom sitting in jail for welfare fraud is not justice for Aliayah.
The one thing that stood out to me the most was Lena standing by herself talking on the phone. All by herself. No RL, no Mom, no friends by her side. And her being very pregnant. And very much alone.

Even if Lena lost the SNAP for the children removed, she would still qualify for herself because she is pregnant. She should also still be eligible for WIC as a pregnant woman. She may keep her medical benefits until after pregnancy also so that her prenatal care is taken care of.
BUT...once she delivers and the twins are removed from her custody......she will be on her own, along with her unemployed convict husband.

I really hope the media down there starts following her everywhere she goes. Don't give her a minute of peace. Plaster her face on every TV station and newspaper.
