Living off mom and dad with his girlfriend, taking off whenever he pleased, a job at Publix? How long? Full time? Saved his money for trips? No real responsibility. Who paid for mustang? Her dad got the van lease. Makes me wonder about the Peter Pan syndrome. Never grow up snd entitlement

I'm not defending BL here, but many people in their early 20s are living like this - still at home, student loans, part-time jobs, so what? His victim had similar jobs and lifestyle, too. So what?
We are asking people to grow up too fast, if you ask me. It has always lead to a lot of social problems. Child abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, domestic violence - are not new problems.

What I think happened here is a toxic relationship. He has something wrong with him beyond immaturity and enabling parents, and she was too committed, and he broke her little-by-little until she didn't have the self esteem to get out of what was surely a hellish relationship.
I think a lot of people go through this when they're young but somehow survive, get out, and become stronger. Poor Gabbie didn't have the chance.

HMMM...Gabby's mom said on the 48 hours show that she could not talk about their attempts to talk w BL's family (paraphrasing). If the incident report is redacted, it is likely evidence being protected. Interesting. JMO

This is a Federal Case. jmo
The fraud is I know, but will the homicide be also? Where will the trial be? I haven't checked, but are federal defining terms different than state?

Good point. If WY law does not apply, here is info about insanity defense at federal level:

Comprehensive Crime Control Act

In 1984, Congress passed, and President Ronald Reagan signed, the Comprehensive Crime Control Act. The federal insanity defense now requires the defendant to prove, by "clear and convincing evidence," that "at the time of the commission of the acts constituting the offense, the defendant, as a result of a severe mental disease or defect, was unable to appreciate the nature and quality or the wrongfulness of his acts" (18 U.S.C. § 17). This is generally viewed as a return to the "knowing right from wrong" standard. The Act also contained the Insanity Defense Reform Act of 1984, 18 U.S.C. § 4241, which sets out sentencing and other provisions for dealing with offenders who are or have been suffering from a mental disease or defect.

I know there’s been talk about whether or not the Laundries own a boat and I found this short video Gabby posted to her Instagram story about 6 months ago of her on a boat in Marco Island, Florida.

Marco Island is only an hour and a half drive from North Port.

Getting a milkshake was new to me... then the mexican restaurant... To me thats a little more like glamping than ruffing it in the woods

Interesting. I think Gabby's idea (the in her head idea of it) was far different than the reality of what she was actually doing. I think she liked everything clean and tidy, and that's not reality. This is the very reason I was never into camping, too messy for me. I live at the beach and that drives me a bit crazy with the sand I drag home with me. But sand is better than dirt. IMO

National Parks are federal jurisdictions.

IMOO BL wouldn’t go near a memorial for Gabby. He is the victim not her. He wants the attention. He cannot get his share of attention now. He’s hiding like a fugitive that he is.
People go to funerals and memorials mainly to show support for the living, who are suffering a loss. I understand that, but for me, grief is so deep and personal that nothing public offers any relief. I don't need to attend or watch them to fully understand their grief. Just my thoughts on the subject. jmo

I’m guessing neither of you are vegetarians?
It can be really difficult to find vegetarian food in some areas. At best it’s small cafes and juice bars. Finding a hot full meal vegetarian style isnt easy. Most people who live vegetarian often note places that have what they need and will travel to get to them. I just googled “vegetarian food in grand Teton” and got very few nearby results that wouldn’t require a 30+ minute drive.
I think they were at Merry Piglets. It’s has a reputation for having great vegetarian options and is often a place that non veggies will tell vegetarians if they ask where they can go.
That’s why I have been there.
Neither of me? Anyway I never said anything about the food, vegetarian or not. I did question why they would go back to that forlorn place, and I pointed out that I haven't seen proof they were there, nor proof that it was they involved in the altercation. The manager sounded very fuzzy. They were very busy.

I think she was dead by then, but could be convinced otherwise with a receipt.

since it says they were only in home four minutes, I bet they served a summons of some kind? For a grand jury appearance maybe. I don’t know how these things work but what could you do in four minutes!

a lot that I can’t say here without getting in time out lol
