....then there was the cost of the motel.

Yes, I was having a look at the Fairfield Inn in Salt Lake City where they stayed for 5 nights. It's quite pricey by their standards between $120-150 per night for a room, depending on which website you look on.
It's near the airport, and this hotel has a shuttle bus to/from the airport, so Gabby wouldn't have needed to drive Brian there.

So, say it was approx. $600 for the hotel stay, not including meals and other food and drink.
The flight from SLC to Florida we are estimating is $300 based on current search prices.

So, that's a whopping $1000 cost just to go and move some stuff from a storage place!
For 2 people living in a van, that is an enormous sum of money to spend!

It was probably nice for Gabby to enjoy a nice hotel room, with a proper bed, a hot shower and a TV etc., it seems strange to spend a whole 5 days there when she had her custom purpose van to live in!

Was Gabby afraid to live in the van by herself, as well as drive it?

This article has conflicting info (other than the 27th info).

The warrant states that Ms Petito’s phone was switched off on 31 August or 1 September.
Gabby Petito search warrant reveals ‘odd’ final text message to mother

I have been looking for the actual search warrant, to clarify for myself, but I can't find it any more.

Not sure if this is the search warrant you're looking for. I believe this is the only one made public at the time. 9/17/21

I don't really care if it is a PR move. It's gotta be a good thing to have the two parents separated for a while and meeting with LE officials. A much better chance of getting some proper leads, perhaps getting CL to open up, especially with regard to BL's location or habits.

We wanted them to cooperate didn't we?
Yes, better late than never

If Brian walks out today with his hands in the air I may break my tv..

I can’t believe his dad is there! I thought this was all a joke. Maybe a deal has been struck?

Maybe he's there to identify... something? MOO

As CL apparently goes to search today, unbelievable, I’ve been mulling over misinformation, namely from SB.

re: the date the Laundries last saw BL. SB claims they mistakenly said 9/14 based on recalling events around that time-or some other word salad.

Now we have

1. SB claiming CL looked for BL on 9/13 for 4-5 hrs.

2. a 911 call or Police response at abt 2:18pm at the laundries home on 9/14. ( it’s impossible to tell which from redacted report)

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...brian-laundrie-home-gabby-petito-missing/amp/

3. Mustang ticketed at abt 2:45pm on 9/14 apparently for overnight parking violation.

So how do these parents “mistake” the day BL went missing. Hooooeeeey. Moooo

Maybe LE wants CL out there now to show them what the heck he did for 4-5 hrs on the 13th. Did he take any garden tools with him on that day?

For all you really good sleuthers…. My phone just gave a Fox News push 5 minutes ago that BL’s father “ enters FL park with law enforcement”. I only have Fox News pushes on my phone, not iPad so if anyone wants to follow this push further….

Is everyone reading current info? Yesterday SB claimed CL was asked by NPPD to help in search but that search was canceled for other reasons. Then NPPD stated that "in no world" would they have asked that (and previously noted that the FBI is leading the investigation).

Today I see people still talking about it and referring to a CNN article. I read NN's 10/7 update article on their main page, and as of this moment it just states, "... a source close to the family told CNN's Chris Cuomo on Wednesday.
Laundrie's father had been asked to show law enforcement the trails at the reserve, which his son had been known to use, the source said. But because of the campsite discovery, police restricted the search on Wednesday and did not include his father."
Brian Laundrie: New details of the movements of Gabby Petito's fiancé emerge as officials find recent campsite in Florida reserve - CNN

That's it. The article doesn't even include the NPPD'S statement about having Laundrie in the search. I cannot find any reference to an "FBI source" inviting Chris Laundrie to join the official search, other than in occasional posts here or on Twitter (but not by check marks, and not by the FBI).

So, other than Mike Ruiz reporting that Laundrie went to the post office this morning , is there any new news on this, or are people just not realizing this is old info?

Oh, hold on, have no fear. SB was there to clear this up!

SB text to Michael Ruiz - so to be clear: Someone asked, but it could be anyone. Maybe an FBI liaison, which you may have never even heard of. I know of FBI liaisons, but you may not know of liaisons. They're great, the greatest liaisons in the world, to my knowledge. I can't say with any specificity what their name is, I'm not sure it's worth my time to know what their name is. Also, it's privileged.

I wonder if the longer he stays on the lam how much harder it will be to plead insanity, if hes found alive and thats the way it goes

Maybe the parents had a lot of points. I fly my kids and put them up in hotels on my points all the time. Ime, when something seems too absurd for words, there's usually some missing information. jmo

Yes

Hope he starts talking. I really think this is some sort of distraction though… but who knows.
