thank you so much for keeping the thread updated on what brian entin posts! it's so nice when I'm on mobile cause I don't have to open multiple tabs/apps!
with that said, BL has only been missing for roughly 5 weeks. If they found bones then can it still be Brian? imo it's still possible but I'm by no means an expert.

imo I think that's what was found of Gabby too. A month in hot/cold conditions. I just hope she was found whole. Her clothing may have protected her from the wildlife there. jmo

i just wanted to bring this forward from the last thread...............

BIZARRENESS ..........is a word!!!!!!
Sure it is! I play a lot of word games and if you follow general rules of grammar, lots of words you never use are indeed legitimate words! jmo
Gun would be found in area I think if he shot himself
probably sunk in muck, but I HOPE that they have metal detectors operating...if not, that would be a huge oversight. jmo

If they were asked a date as in a number, that would make sense that they could have botched that, but if it was a date as in a day, that's cause for concern. I have no idea what they were actually asked so I couldn't tell you if this is hinky or a genuine mistake.

yeah I just find it strange that they wouldn't get the date/day spot on from the start

Is there any kind of ME or coroner in this thread that could hypothesize what these remains may have looked like?

I am talking about him committing suicide in order to avoid punishment for his crime. Jmo

I'm probably in the minority here but I don't view ending your life as avoiding punishment for your crime. I've always viewed the death penalty as the ultimate sentence. IMO suicide of a suspect is an admission of guilt with a self-inflicted punishment. IMO.

I'm doubting this is Brian, MOO is that he has been in contact with the parents and recently they stopped hearing from him. They go to the AT&T store to find out if the phone is still on (probably ran out of power) and the next day they go to the reserve and they find belongings in an area that had been searched for how long? I'm not buying it. I think the bones were found and then the story was created. Then they lost contact and were maybe even worried about their son for the first time since it all began. Then there is this: https://twitter.com/leisa1979/status/1451242097290498058/photo/1

I'll join you in the minority, if that's what it is. This is exactly what I have believed from the start. BL's parents don't strike me as any kind of criminal, much less masterminds as some have speculated. Humans are messy and unpredictable and this case just emphasizes that. I think his parents did what they could within the law. I believe once the Petito family started calling, they became suspicious and got the truth (or nearly) from Brian and then their nightmare began.

Was it a mistake not talking to Gabby's family? I don't know, maybe they were trying to convince him to turn himself in and he begged for one more hike in nature before he was imprisoned. Nothing the Laundries could say to the Petitos could help their daughter, but maybe they could still help their son. What parent wouldn't? Especially if he threatened suicide which I suspect is likely.

I won't believe the Laundries broke any laws without proof. They deserve their time to grieve.
I really want to believe they had no clue until they started receiving phone calls, the fact that there were two reports in the NPPD records for 9/10 (albeit heavily redacted) makes me wonder if there wasn't some kind of disagreement on what to do moving forward.

However, there are just so many unanswered questions, that may always be unanswered, that do cast a little bit of doubt there. I have said before, if they truly had no clue prior to receiving the calls and their behaviors/actions/lack thereof up to this point are simply them following their lawyer's advice because that's all they could do, it does make me incredibly sad for them. Unless BL came right out and told them exactly what happened to GP, I can only imagine they've been holding onto the hope that something would come to light to clear their child.

Even with the doubts, though, I always go back to: If you honestly knew nothing, did nothing, and were completely innocent, why wouldn't you volunteer everything you knew? Would you not want to get your name off the potential list of suspects ASAP not only for yourself but so LE could focus on finding the actual person responsible?

Mahsa just said that according to SB, Brian Laundrie was reported missing on Sept. 14! Supposedly, he called the FBI to let them know he was missing.

I feel like this changes things.
I think it's an attempt to change things but he's lost all credibility and trips himself up.
He's already admitted that BL disappeared on 13th, if that was the Monday.

@10 0f rods might know. jmo
I clicked on it and have decided I'd like to be cremated after all.
I just scattered my sister's cremains in Lake Michigan, for which I know she would be grateful. jmo

Doesn't make sense. First, how do you know BL had a nasty temper? Was it captured anywhere or this is just speculation?
Secondly, Bertolino contacted FBI that Brian was missing on the 13th.
Can you please provide evidence to back up your statement: "Both had a nasty temper behind closed doors" specifically in relation to BL....

Also, please stop calling suicide cowardly. It's more than offensive.
moo..

I am obviously not referring to all suicides, please do not misconstrue my words. I am talking about two alleged DV killers, BL and FD, being cowards which MOO they are. They did not have the courage to stick around and see what justice looked like for their alleged victims. Had BL/FD avoided justice in any other way like hiding in mountains or fleeing the country I would describe their actions the same way, a cowardly way out.

As for the temper:
Brian Laundrie’s former co-worker remembers him as ‘chameleon’ and ‘weirdo’ who sometimes lost temper

Yeah, I agree this was likely an honest mistake where they forgot what the date was. I'm one of those people who doesn't remember the date unless I explicitly look at my phone/calendar/laptop for it and I know a lot of people who are the same.

Not attempting to cause a big thread diversion, but just as a counterpoint, people use lots of different ways to note the date. Myself, I usually ask Alexa (sometimes more than once in the same morning prep session, lol); and she's programmed by Amazon to give me name of day, date, and month.
