One of the things I held off on reporting -- but now will because Brian Laundrie is confirmed dead. Police installed hidden cameras around the house -- including this camera in a neighbor's yard behind the house. This particular camera was installed after Brian went missing.

As long as they were able to id BL, is it really important what the cause? I mean legally...
I agree it probably isn’t important on that level. I think it’s just ultimately curiosity. I am personally most curious less about how he died than I am about at how they arrive at their conclusions as to how he died. I find the forensic process really fascinating (it’s grim of course but I really admire the people who can do that kind of work & provide closure).

It’s been said by some LE & by SB & in the media that where Brian was found was underwater. I would assume that the night BL went to the reserve, that area wouldn’t have been underwater right? He had to get in there somehow. I wonder like between the time that he went in there, then the parents went in there the two or three days afterwards looking for him, when that area went underwater so much that it was chest high. Idk I just got to thinking he had to get back there some kinda way. Idk…these are the things I think about haha.
That area we got slot of rain in. When LE said it was rough terrain it was rough.

Personally, I have always surmised that BL was upset with the results of the conversation with SB the day he ran. Perhaps he was being advised to do what so many of us thought he should do - negotiate a plea, give up her location and surrender. Or maybe he just got the facts of life of what he was likely facing in the case against him. But it has always stuck with me hard that the day he speaks with SB is the day he runs.
Yes, I think BL knew the walls were closing in. LE impounded the van on the 11th or 12th. I think BS and BL discussed what LE would find in the van. BL may have told BS what happened. I think the 13th was a very emotional and volatile day in the Ls household.

I think this too. The NPPD guy said “he goes in, & doesn’t come out” in an interview. I think they likely saw that in footage. Jmo

It's the only thing that makes sense to me. It's solid proof authorities knew he entered and didn't leave. I wonder why it was mentioned here but never discussed, it's seems to be a pretty important piece of this puzzle. JMO

Oh my, and the tweet after this one. Wow.

I hope they are able to determine a cause of death eventually... I really don't want a lingering mystery like that because it will attract all sorts of strange conspiracies! MOO

He floated east up Big Slough. When the lowlands flood, things move. So if he was wearing the backpack at the time of death, he and his personal effects moved as the water rose. The bag and items found furthest from him, likely were caught up in debris such as the muck, downed trees, exposed tree roots along the banks and the tall grass his parents were walking thru. Even if he were seated in a drier area at the time of death, he would have fallen, rolled or landed in close enough proximity for the water to carry him away.

Excuse me...but did SB say BL was upset, distressed and not himself from the time he arrived back on Sept.1st. until the day he left for the game preserve on Sept. 13th?
Then, who was the guy in Fort DeSoto Park chugging down smores and yukking it up with his nephews on Sept.6th?
Steve must have rabbits.

He's relying on a helluva lot of folks goin down a helluva lot of wabbit holes.

I'm not a lawyer or even well versed in law, but I would think for an unattended death they need to find cause to rule out homicide or suicide. And of course, the family needs to know.

If he had a gun, I would think it should have been located close to his remains.
Could it have floated away?

I really think it's a misquote.

CNN is reporting that SB had TWO conversations with Brian Laundrie on Sept 12 and 13th

I was trying to find a quote from a previous thread, but I couldnt find it. Please delete this post if it is not allowed.

Sassafras mentioned:
"Wgat I meant by my comment was that regardless of what he said or his word choice, his words can't be (for legal purposes) placed on the Ls as though they themselves made them. His unintended revelations or mere misstatements are not theirs."

Wow, I guess I never realized this. I would fire SB anyway, because I would expect my counsel to only make approved statements? This has probably already been said...
IMHO, SB has been a goldmine for the prosecution.

If the cause of death is never determined there will be a lot of conspiracy theories about how BL died. JMO
That's for sure!!

I’d assume it’s because it wasn’t public that Gabby was dead yet. Like why would he be grieving if he didn’t know she was dead yet? Idk that was just my thought when I heard it.
My thoughts too, sure doesn’t seem like SB thanks very much before he speaks MOO
