FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Police Department released new surveillance video they obtained in their investigation into the murder of 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her three-week-old infant, Celine.

Detectives say they tracked down hours of footage from nearby businesses and residences.

Now, officials are trying to identify a subject in one of the videos and are asking for the public's help.

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 7:20 am, officers from the Southwest Policing District responded to a residence in the 2500 block of South Fruit Avenue regarding a report of multiple gunshots heard within a bedroom in the house. Officers arrived and contacted several family members outside the residence who stated gunshots were heard inside the bedroom where 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her 3-week-old infant daughter, Celine Solorio-Rivera were located. Officers made entry into the room where they found both Yanelly and Celine inside the bedroom unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Unfortunately, both were unable to survive their injuries and were pronounced deceased on scene by EMS personnel.

New details have been revealed in the shocking killings of 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio Rivera and her 3-month-old baby Celine Solorio Rivera who were shot multiple times in their southwest Fresno home by an allegedly jealous relative. Prosecutors have charged Solorio Rivera’s 22-year-old sister Yarelly Solorio Rivera and her boyfriend Martin Arroyo Morales, 26, of Madera with the murders.

From some articles I read yesterday, her sister doesn't even seem to have an ounce of remorse. Willingly admitted it, said she was sick of her and not getting enough attention. This is horrific. I wonder what their relationship was like as youth.
