This is why I find this stuff NOT BELIEVABLE. This was a hands on Mom who was there most of the time. She would never have taken the risk. There was no reason to....Marina was HOME. And she could have hired someone else. No career or job to complicate matters.

You might miss depression or disgusting envy but someone who hides under beds when dogs bark?????

A Bellevue Hospital doctor testified that the former nanny accused of fatally stabbing two upper West Side children in her care may be 'putting on an act.' Ortega has said that she ‘hears voices’ but is ‘never observed to be responding to internal stimuli,' according to hospital notes.

Yoselyn Ortega, charged with killing two young children in her care, appears in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday.


“Killer Nanny” Yoselyn Ortega is not only fit to stand trial, but she also might be faking psychotic symptoms, a forensic psychiatrist testified Tuesday.

Dr. Myles Schneider of Bellevue Hospital said a number of clues suggest the former child caregiver was wise to what could help her.

Schneider said “malingerers” can try to fake out doctors but forget that nurses are always around and documenting progress.

They sometimes don’t “feel they have to present the symptoms” the way they do when they’re trying to fake out doctors, he said.

October means this baby boy is due around the one year anniversary of the murders.
I wonder if she is angry that the parents won't simply spend that day mourning... but may also have something to celebrate?

I do not think she is angry because they won’t spend the time mourning...They will be mourning till the die....
I think she may be mad that they will replace something she took away.

This is new. Marina was home, blogging, at least part of that day. How can this be true? Certainly Marina would have noticed this type of behavior and never left her babies with her!

This is all very convenient, isn't it? And she is crying...not about the children she killed...but her own situation...the handcuffs, etc.

Marina Krim was a stay at home Mom. I find it truly BEYOND BELIEF that she could have been in Ortega's company, day after day, and not noticed some mental break. Remember they argued over Ortega's job performance. Marina was WATCHING her.

This was a rage killing, feuled by jealousy. Ortega deserves the worst thejustice sysyem can give her. She is VILE.

MAYBE I can shed a little light maybe not...
Mentally ill people on meds act very normal and you cannot tell they are off balance.
When they go off the meds - the meds are still in the system for a few weeks. and one day the meds are not in the system and they snap....
I had to study this stuff. So I can say for sure that can happen...

Maybe Marina who never studies this tuff... just experienced a job disagreement and that is all.
I never thought this Nanny was warm, she always looked down, but I thought that people with the same language brighten up in-front of the people they can communicate with.
I speak other languages and it is true, it happens, there is a warm receptivity.


Marina is a warm and sweet lady...But she is not a shrink.

Remember Ortega's teenage son saying Mommy couldnot have done this? REALLY? If sheis hiding you under the bed every time a dog barks? And the SIster reccomended her to Marina Krim for the job...knowing she hadhad previous episodes of mental illness? And the family met the Krims and their babies in the DR and ALLOWED their pyschotic daughter to be placed ina position of CARE for these children?

Really? What does this say aboutthis entire family...and their crocodile tears for the murdered babies? They share moral responsibility at the least.

Sister was very irresponsible and hiding information.
Ortega could not get a job, and so I think sister pulled the wool over Marina...

the Krims had a Greyhound but i dont think they bark too much.

i doubt if the Krims knew how sick she was.
