Zahra Baker Search and Recovery Effort and Input

All that desolate road and they find evidence within 40 yds of homes? I don't get it....
I mean if I'm looking to get rid of something, I'm gonna look for somewhere where it's not likely to be found or not found quickly, which would NOT be right next to the only few houses in miles!

Florida has miles and miles of woods and swamps, but Casey Anthony dumped Caylee in the woods less than a mile down the road from her parents' house. Within sight of the road. In plain sight. In a garbage bag.

So I'll believe anything.

And it sounds like this has an illegal dump drop-off site, so it wouldn't surprise me at all.

I know darned good and well that I just read somewhere that this was an area behind a former school of hers, where they "liked to hang out"? Am I losing it, or did anyone else also read that?

I heard it on NG but I think they were talking about C. Anthony not EB. Saying that EB lived in this area 15 yrs ago and people tend to dispose of evidence in areas they know, so they were drawing comparisons.

I try to avoid when possible but our members who are loyal viewers keep me up to date ;)

Having not heard the interview but only reading transcribed by members - It is possible they meant this sparcely populated area along and near Indian Grave has only 10 or 12 houses. As I said, grains of salt.

I do find the area interesting though as it was one I was looking at earlier this afternoon. Lots of dirt roads connecting paved roads, woods, and few neighbors.

My understanding that Mr. Ford (on NG's show) stated the search area, 3 mi. along Indian Grave Rd. has approximately 12 houses. MOO

Thanks panthera, I'm just looking for some visual confirmation of a search team right in that area and at what time. Did NG (or does anyone) have that? TIA.....

Off of Dudley Shoals rd and Charlie Little rd. There is a baseball diamond. To the left of it there is a black water pond. With lots of little trails leading to it. I can't get it to link for me.

It is about 15 miles north.

Thanks - IMO, it's possible - if little Zahra's body was left in one spot - that animals could have spread her bones far & wide...just seems like a stretch that animals would take her bones that far.

I can't remember another case where I heard about wildlife carrying bones that far away....course, maybe that's because LE would have no way to know where to search so many miles away.

Either way, it's just awful to think about what that sweet little girl went through.

anyhow. regardless, If that area is being searched, we here can do nothing but wait, so let's move out from that area and look at some more locations around the Indian Grave Rd route.

I am also going to try to give the Dudley Shoals area some more looking as that is where searching will purportedly begin tomorrow.

Thanks tlcox, I think thats a great place to begin again with clear heads.
If anyone comes up with a search crew out tonight, please post.

I know that area Clue Hopper. You can probably link it on google maps (go to satellite version.)

At 45 sec: 10 miles North of Christie Rd search site just like NG show. Thanks Panthera!

You're welcome - I'm glad it was useful. Some pretty rugged terrain there for searchers to have to comb through. :(

There is video at this link if it helps.

Thanks panthera- a little bit of confusion (probably my fault) I knew about that search- I was just confused about the resident speaking on NG about the search and his property (if I understood correctly) and if there was visual confirmation of that specifically- he with searchers there simultaneously. I did know they searched portions of Indian Grave Gap.
Am I making any sense?? sorry if not- I'm probably tired. :waitasec:

I have often wondered if AB thought of places that he had worked. For those who aren't local we had an awful ice storm Christmas morning around here and we have had many tree crews from "off the mountain" come up and work clearing out the tree debris. They are still cleaning up and will be for years to come.

I'm so tempted to ride out there after dropping off the kids in the morning. I am 'Up the Mountain' but this isn't far.....hmmmm:waitasec:

He was on camera outdoors on what he said was his property. Video was shown of the area being searched but not simultaneous with him speaking to NG. Her show is being repeated again now on HLN.

Thank you, that's what I was trying to understand. So there are not searchers present while he is speaking to NG, correct?

I dind't read it - but I did hear NG SAY that tonight. I don't know if she was talking about the new search area or not - it was kinda ambigious. But I did hear it.

HTH

I just started listening to NG again - and heard NG talking about Casey Anthony re: her little girl, Caylee, dumped behind a school in an area where she used to hang out.

I'll keep listening to see if anybody mentions EB & a school.

No need. That was most likely it. I'm definitely tired.
